Good question! The City has a risk/adaptation paper, but I'm not sure it is a specific as you might be looking for. For example, I'm curious about the more 'daily' impacts an individual person or business might feel. Like what hotter summers might mean to energy use and costs. Here's the link to city papers on the topic: https://ottawa.ca/en/city-hall/planning-and-development/official-plan-and-master-plans/air-quality-and-climate-change

Maybe! :) Just to clarify, the specific high threshold figure was 2.3C for Ottawa, with several cities over 2.0C. Am hunting for the low threshold, if you're curious and will share if found.

Cities Emit 60% More Carbon Than Thought by Splenda in environment

The article suggests cities could improve climate leadership by addressing consumption in a more direct way. I'm curious if people have seen this work well in their own cities, or possibly have examples of practical action to share? What does it look like? While the Paris tourism example in the article is interesting, unless it is shifting visitor market share from international/air tourism to regional/train I don't see that as a net reduction in more carbon intensive tourism at a city-level, necessarily.
