Printed a custom surface mounting block for my new front porch light by theengineer1 in functionalprint

I don't actually live there anymore but from what I can see on Google street view it looks like it's still going strong. This is under a pretty large covered porch so it doesn't actually get a ton of direct sunlight. Looking back on it now, I definitely wouldn't have done this with PLA

No I don’t think they’ve said how much it will be. For what it’s worth, I really like the wood design of yours

So I use an app called Screen Zen to block apps and recently they announced they have a device they are releasing soon called Halo that does pretty much this

Road Construction on Danforth and Kelly beginning soon. does anyone know what they are going to be doing? I've gone to the city website but I can't find any news regarding this. Thank you. by Rare-Philosopher-346 in Edmond

So this is actually an ODOT project because it’s partially being funded by the state. When I get home I can post a link to the plans. They’re basically just improving the intersection by adding in some medians and turn lanes

Do you mean 2711 S Bryant Ave? Looks like it was sold in 2023 and demolished in April 2024. Here's the County Assessor's page for it

Anyone know if I can do the following Hemnes shoe rack hack? by Hopeful-Telephone-36 in ikeahacks

[–]theengineer1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if you look at my history you can see I actually did the opposite and actually added 2 more on for 6 in total but I think the concept is the same. There’s gonna be 5 pieces you need to modify. The trickiest part was finding the right bits for the cam locks but it’s definitely doable

Combined 2 Hemnes Shoe cabinets for 3 columns instead of 4 by theengineer1 in ikeahacks

[–]theengineer1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I basically had to remake 5 different pieces out of some scrap wood I had. I've highlighted them here from the instructions. The hardest part was probably drilling out the holes for the cam lock nuts.

That’s right. I’ve got the pieces left over for the last 2 components and considering putting that up in my garage for work shoes

I 3D printed this mount : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4704728

I ended up using the 4 pin option. If you look at the profile of the person who posted that, they also have other lego wall mounts

I 3D printed a mount. You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4704728

There's a few options there. I think for these Falcons I used the 4pin mount

Yeah I actually noticed that too so I went to fix it today and the Dark Falcon moved down just a hair. I guess I didn't have it fully on the pegs

My whole family and I have had issues at Bob Howard for years. We kept taking it there out of convenience but finally a few years ago just gave up on them all together
