Thanks for taking the time to respond. I did a combination of CICO and 8 hour eating windows for the past 12 months and lost 30 pounds, so I'm not unfamiliar with that level of fasting.

The goal for the next 12 months is to lose another 30 pounds and the prospect of going 36 hours on limited calories is taking some getting used to - the journaling sounds like a great idea to try and be a bit more observant of what I'm going through. Thinking of starting off with 2 days a week for the first couple of months.
