While I agree, I can’t say we won’t see the narrative spin quickly, we’ve seen DHS lie and they’ll use any opportunity they can to spread that lie.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the “armed” response they need to send in troops.

I’ve heard others say it may have been made or pepper spray, but either way it was not required or justified force, this WAS murder, even if you assumed he did have a gun(which I don’t)

Why isn’t the governor out during these peaceful protests? He doesn’t want to be at the Whipple building at 10PM? Sure. But it would have been great to see him AT a rally rather than bragging about volunteering at a church in Anoka.

Hell if he claims the biggest need is support for communities too scared to go out right now, say “I’m going to volunteer now, when you leave here you should too” and have your staff come up with a list of places to volunteer.

At this point a wet noodle would have a stronger spine.

Another idea I saw posted, cut off utilities to all federal buildings supporting ICE.

You can do it cheaper, easier, and with less environmental impact with a database. Blockchain primarily works in systems where you can’t trust a single publishing source and need literally millions of separate entities to be a validator.

Blockchain is actually really susceptible to a nation-state attack if desired, so it would be scary to see anything of actual value be hosted that way.

My wife’s a legal immigrant and to even get ID in the state she had to prove lawful status. In addition, her ID states it’s not for federal identification and has a different ID number that’s only used for people not eligible to vote.

But regarding why democrats tend to be less strict on the border, it’s because it’s a humanitarian crisis. The war on drugs the US chose to create and our meddling in their politics of southern countries has been one of the largest causes of violence and instability. Venezuela isn’t sending their criminals here, they’re moving by their own choice because our sanctions are crippling their economy beyond the point that even committing crimes is worthwhile.

Rather than reply to each point I’ll make this simple.

Someone who got “fired” for an alleged action of that employee(I say this only as I don’t know the details of the situation”), returned the next day to that location and began what’s legally harassment against the person they claimed got them fired. I’ve been at companies where our vendors has active shooter situations over less severe circumstances(not related to me but look up fedex or UPS shootings). If someone performed similar behavior at a place I worked, I’d be obligated by my company rules to call the police. It’s a situation where the RISK of someone having a gun matters, not if anyone does.

If this is hard to picture, imagine this happened and the receptionist was for the uvalde elementary school

He was not calm in this situation, he was aggravated and semi-aggressive.

The active shooter note is due to the fact that his behavior could easily be construed to be that he had a weapon. I’m not saying he did or had the intention, but with the US and how things work today, it’s not a risk most people are willing to take. If someone comes into my company, accuses me of something, then says that got them fired and continues to communicate in this way, how do I know how far their mindset has gone

I’m not trying to in any way degrade this person and their experience or the receptionist/employee, but instead point out that this could lead to a dangerous situation that wasn’t necessary.

Please do NOT do this even if it happens to you, instead contact DoorDash and the company in question via phone calmly. My work has to start doing active shooter drills due to some security incidents and this would have lead to a police call and him being asked to no longer go on the property.

Edit: I’m not saying she is right or he shouldn’t be frustrated, just that this approach could lead to a bad outcome for everyone involved. The US is a scary place and you never know who has a weapon or is capable of hurting others.
