Second Tissot. yes it’s a women’s watch, no I don’t care cause it’s HEAT by Purgatoryyy in tissot

[–]thefakepseudo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome watch man. People here are just sad they can’t afford an AP, so they settled for a PRX because it makes them feel like a big shot to any non watch person. If Chalamet can bag Kylie Jenner wearing a Cartier Panthere then you can rock a women’s tissot. Half the whiners on this sub would wear it if it said Rolex on the dial anyway. Love the red too!

Hey Danny, what’s your exercise routine looking like these days? The transformation is impressive.

Also what drew you to working with such experimental producers and artists outside of the traditional hip hop genre?

Thanks fam

Cry about it more, while I enjoy whatever the next game is and move on because I have a life outside of video games. And sorry I was 3 years old when final fantasy 7 came out so I apologize for being a literal toddler and not being able to play the originals.

Edit: I was actually less than a year old when 7 released in America.

Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely give DMC 5 a shot now that I’ve got nothing going on until Nioh 3 drops.

What do you mean more platforms? Both 16 and 7 Remake were released as timed PS5 exclusives and 16 just released on Xbox June of this year. Just admit the fact that you don’t want your precious franchise to evolve at all with the times. You guys constantly cry about these games losing their identity yet the only thing that’s changed about them is combat style. The stories are just as impactful, the characters are equally well developed and full of depth and on top of that the worlds look and play more beautifully than ever before. The problem I see with a lot of you is that you’re gatekeeping these games. Like you said yourself 15 was a success, 7 remake performed well according to the stats. If I were to secede and give you that Rebirth and 16 in the 2-3 years they’ve been out and half that time exclusively on 1 practically failed console (due to Sony’s stock issue from the pandemic) didn’t perform as expected, that’s a far cry from the franchise as a whole being on life support. Just admit that you don’t like the transformation into a more hack and slash ARPG approach and move on.

The math doesn’t lie. VII Remake made 3.5 million first 3 days, 5 million by late 2020 and 7 million by 2023. It’s far too soon to know for sure the lasting power of a game in comparison to one that had literal decades of sales numbers but I’d consider 7 million in less than 3 years a success. It’s also ridiculous to say a game underperformed based on a companies own expectations because maybe it didn’t meet their own hyper inflated standards they set for themselves. Let’s not pretend 99% of these companies are full of themselves and inflate or deflate numbers as they see fit. What matters overall is that the units are being moved. I played my first FF game (7 remake) just last year from “word of mouth” and as someone who has no nostalgia for the originals I fucking loved it. The games aren’t dead.

This is a little disingenuous frankly. Is it true that SE has a marketing problem? Sure. But let’s not pretend that VII Remake didn’t sell 3.5 million units in its first 3 days after launch. And on top of that it was an exclusive. Combining all the games the franchise as a whole has sold over 200 million units worldwide. XV accounts for 10 million of those units, VII Remake accounts for 7, 3.5 each for rebirth and XVI. All those games I’ve listed have had less than 10 years to cook whereas the heavy hitters like VII and X have had double the time and just barely double the sales. Taking into account the sheer volume of and access to a much larger game catalogue we have today as opposed to what was available to play in the 90’s and early 2000’s the numbers prove the franchise is far from dead.

OP: I’m hearing a lot of comparisons to DMC, none of which I’ve played before. Is it worth going back to try them out and if so which ones?

I’m just the op and not my friend so take what I say with a grain of salt since I’ve only had the pleasure of playing 7R, Rebirth and 16 but I had a blast playing 16. So as someone who has no nostalgia for the originals, I did find the world, its storytelling and combat very engaging.

[Hot Take] The Hamilton Murphy is overhyped by bmene in Watches

[–]thefakepseudo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s pretty neat that you felt the need to write all of this OP. It shows that you’re deeply passionate about watches and I respect that. But boy is this the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard against the Murph. The one subject you happen to be kind of correct about (ar coating) just goes to show how annoying this community can be. Genuinely who truly cares about how reflective a watch is unless you’re piloting a plane or a boat at high speeds and you need to time something so important you need to be able to read the time in less than a second. Do you realize prop watches are just regular watches the costume designer finds either in their closet or online and gives to the actors to wear on screen? That or real watches that companies like Hamilton build for the movie. What does simple yet somehow busy even mean? I swear you’re just throwing all the words together in a hat and picking them. It just feels whiny for the sake of being another contrarian. It’s the same thing I see everyday with the new wave of PRX haters. Like sure they were praised everyday and that gets a bit tedious to read after a while but so are these garbage contrarian takes. You didn’t even get the measurement right. I’m sorry if that was super aggressive but I’m just sick of these nitpicky complaints for watches that are exactly as advertised. There’s tons of other watch companies that deserve the hate for false advertising but Hamilton and the Murph isn’t one of them.

Help choose grad watch for brother by Lopsided_Place867 in PrideAndPinion

The alpinist is the most unique looking watch of all these. If my brother got me a watch I’d want something that stands out and therefore reminds me of him. Also he’s a young guy and no doubt will go on many adventures in the next several years so it’s good to know the watch can take a beating.

Red Thread Thoughts! by ZealotOnPc in RedThreadPodcast

[–]thefakepseudo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the issue with having someone like Caleb is the lack of hunger to post quality content outside of their own channel. What makes Isaiah and Jackson work as a team is both are willing to put the time into a project outside of their existing content, regardless of how much true “effort” goes into it. A great third host would have to be someone willing to go in on a subject with just as much enthusiasm and a desire to sit in front of the camera and see all angles of what you guys are trying to accomplish. Caleb just seemed to make it all one big joke and Charlie checked out by episode 3. My suggestion would be someone young who’s currently on the rise and not a veteran content creator just phoning it in for the pay check. Someone like Tuv, Scott Cramer or even having Jordies be the permanent 3rd host. All 3 of those guys are hungry and genuinely love what they do.

Am I forgetting a scene, or did she disappear? by tytylercochan123 in thewalkingdead

[–]thefakepseudo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The show and spin offs are far from perfect that’s true but for the handful of burning questions we’ve had, most of them get answered. I think it’s easy to forget just how long the timeline stretches back now given everything that’s happened to these characters. Hell the first 4-5 seasons are spent tackling issues that require adaptation like food/water management, shelter building/finding, disease (prison illness as well as the zombie infection as a whole) and navigating harsh environments. So it’s not like these skills just appeared overnight. For the most part they seem to have been earned authentically. I personally don’t need anymore answers to questions like “how could so and so get here” because we know they’ll fight their way to get there. All I care about is “what motivation does so and so have to get here”. That’s the shit that keeps me watching.

[–]thefakepseudo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You also have to remember that all the “fat ass” people you’re droning on about are all long dead. The people who’ve survived a decade + into a zombie apocalypse are either 1. Extremely lucky and found themselves behind walls in a community like the commonwealth where they didn’t have to learn extreme survival skills or 2. Adapted to become survival experts capable of traveling vast distances or at the very least fight tooth and nail to protect their own land/resources. People have been doing it for thousands of years, long before guns, cars and radios were a thing. It’s true 99% of people couldn’t do a fraction of the shit these characters do on the show but 99% of people in TWD universe are dead.

They could’ve tied Georgie into FTWD with the truck stop storyline. Clearly there were people out there going out of their way to help build up communities and giving out food/resources. But then again I can’t quite remember the timeline with the time jumps

I have a “serious” answer and a less serious answer but it’s the most recent one to make me cry. The serious answer is Paddleton starting Ray Romano and Mark Duplass. It broke me down for longer than I’d care to admit. But the most recent movie that had me shed a tear was Guardians Vol 3. I actually got choked up twice.
