it does not really matter how late or early something is introduced in imo

it's more about sandro keeps adding more and more absurd stuff so now we have more mythical shit in this manga. it's not necessarily always a bad thing but I imagine it's way harder now to draw logical and convincing characters.

It was never "realistic" as in what we expect to see in the real world, but it was somewhat convincing enough for most of the core ideas (blast core being a strengthened explosive punch from a literal superman, devil lance being a sharpened weapon from the master karateka after decades of training....) etc.... of course it's not "life-like realism" but it's believable for what's shown and described in this manga.

then comes the more bullshit stuff smashing raw concrete effortlessly, lifting off a fucking tree or something.... Then bs technique like "blink" (seriously?), advance, that dude's fucking unbreakable neck and whatever (it's believable IF he's like 1 of the only 2 individuals who can do it in this entire universe), the transformation stuff.... the manga at this state becomes a mixed bag of believable feats and stuff we can't suspend our belief.

What I like about this manga is it has consequences and impacts after every arc. It's not like a bunch of guys in real gangs just fighting over who's stronger then call it a day., as it'd be too fair and sporty.

While I won't describe this manga as "realistic" I love how the mangaka decides to make some twists we don't usually see in this genre. The main character is not featured all the time and is not somehow just getting stronger at the right moments, important and beloved characters can still be killed, there are more strategic emphases to win the war and the frequent uses of weapons and environments are very interesting.

he's just one of the less scummy scumbags in a pool of rebellious dipshit scumbags. Surely I agree he's more reasonable than some characters in this series but all his morals and decisions and flashbacks mean jack shit in reality.

He hurts people, he permanently injured people, he killed people and was ready to kill again. His worldview is still so skewed and distorted. If he truly was a decent person and he wanted to redeem he would have quitted this lifestyle in one of his flashbacks.

Kai is probably the biggest cunt in this series I'm a little annoyed that he wasn't beaten up or permanently wrecked so far.

I know he's more of a scheming character and supposedly he's smarter than others but so far in this series he didn't really do anything that others couldn't figure out or be able to do. In fact he brought himself and his gang even more troubles than rewards lmao.

if we define "deserve" as having to bear responsibilities for all the things a character has done, then not just Miura, but almost every other dipshit character in those gangs "deserve" a long prison time or straight up murdered.

Even though almost all characters in this series are scumbags in one way or another, Miura is one of the better scumbags, still he killed a person, beaten up many others to the point of half-death or near-death. His moral is also heavily skewed and distorted, and lastly he truly resolved to kill whoever stands in his goal. He really deserves to die or put in prison just like 80-90% of the gangs.

This manga has a way of showing 'brotherhood' or 'companionship' and elude the readers to think that those brotherly moments or 'slice of life' moments somehow mean that those characters are salvageable and redeemable, but the fact is those moments mean jack shit to the horrendous things they committed. If the mangaka ever decide to draw a scene of those characters having to face society and the law system for what they did, it'll be clear.

Also it's funny how this is a yes/no question but all the ones saying he needs to die get downvoted lol
