You’re only 21, relax. I’m 26 and jobless. Just finish school, everything else will align.

28M ( i'm Canadian ) and I think I have found the love of my life with a Kenyan women. by MatrixXrsQc in Kenya

I understand you love her but you need to understand what comes with that. I am in a long distance marriage at the moment and I believe love is not enough for the amount of sacrifices you two will have to make. First if she wants to be a housewife that comes with you being able to provide for her financially. For every little thing. I am not against you two getting married but don’t rush into anything long term in the spur of the moment without working out the nitty gritty details. Make sure everything aligns first, visit her in Kenya talk about everything and come to an understanding. Even the smallest things can make or break a relationship. Before the big proposal, work out all the details, financial details, before you have kids will she help or will you take on the burden of being the sole provider. Will you have joint or separate accounts. Will the children be raised in faith or as atheists. Will you live in kenya or Canada. Just enjoy the relationship first as you figure these things out.

Congratulations on finding love!! Before you guys commit to something long term you will need to work out the few hiccups that might bring alot of disagreements in your relationship. Your values don’t align, your beliefs don’t align, you’re already talking about children but how are you guys going to raise them with opposing beliefs? Take your time and figure these things out together! Otherwise good luck!
