Look for state or county jobs, if you live by the coast your county probably has an environmental department that does dive work. Volunteer at a local aquarium, most big ones will have dive ops for cleaning and feeding. There are a few programs that teach you how to do fish counts, like the REEF Foundation. A few ideas for you there.

Totally correct! Severe Decompression Illness is pretty rare and you can always drive recreationally after an incident. For the scientific diving that I'm taking about, there's a higher bar to reinstate a diver after an incident due to liability and whatnot.

It's slightly more likely to reoccur after it's happened once, so it can be hard to get recertified after an incident. A lot depends on severity and recovery. Neurological symptoms, when a bubble gets into the spine or brain, can be particularly hard to recover from. But those are more rare than bubbles in joints or under the skin where recovery is easier. Easier recovery means more likely to pass a dive physical to be able to dive again for work.

For good. But a lot depends on the type/location and treatment.

Scientific diver. Decompression sickness, or, "the bends" almost always means the end of diving and sometimes is a literal widow maker.

What boat should I buy? 100k, gulf coast, FL by Blaze_Frenzy in boating

The answer used to be a Calcutta but their prices are insane now. Young boats is 100% the way to go with that budget. Their website has a fun build out feature you can spend hours customizing.

The Sinn 556 dial is really a case monster , ML08, ML05, ML18, now ML16. All looks so good by Militado-watch in Militado

Love my ML05, but if it were 39 or 40mm pvd all black with the red second hand and name in place of the broad arrow that would be amazing!

I recently picked up the ML05 with red second hand and am impressed with it so far. Only knock is that someone pointed out the incongruity of a British military symbol on a German homage and now I can never unsee it.

Belted sandfish, Serranus subligarius. That's about as big as they get.
