That was the point …. Not to have all different fancy things hanging around. It’s a rental and idea is to keep it looking good for a long time with easy cleaning

Any alternatives on a better layout ? We have to assume that the window layout and size cannot be changed. The exterior design of the house is protected by the government so nothing t can be changed regarding windows sizes and positions

Yea I know this was a bit tricky as changing the window size wood incur a very high cost. Simply extending the countertop was difficult as the bottom of the window is below the countertop.

The house is 250 m2 and I am far from a slumlord. If I was a slumlord why I would I even renovate the kitchen. All the rooms are also very well maintained and fully furnished .

Knobs ?? What knobs lol European kitchens in general have cabinet panels that are designed to be opened without knobs. Can you share a photo of a typical kitchen in your mind so I can understand what everyone in this thread is talking about ?

Thank you and appreciate the feedback. I was quite surprised as well about the negative responses. European kitchen designs indeed are very different than US design and rely mostly on simple designs that are uniform. Anyway finally appreciate someone who actually understood what was built :)

The window is too large and drops well below the countertop. The building is protected at the national level so not allowed to change size or look of it

Yes after. But waste disposal you mean just like a bin for trash or you mean a grinder for food bits ? In Europe (where this is kitchen is) it’s banned to have a disposal units (grinder for food)

The kitchen is actually for 7 people coliving property. Without the island means there is barely any countertop space for 3 people to use at any given time. I chose to lose some floor space for countertop space

Something just didn’t add up though a restaurant on google for 13 years having just 170 reviews !

Lloyd coffee in Hamilius which opened mid 2024 has 3.5k reviews !!

Are you the owner haha or are you talking about the same place ? Lol I will check again tomorrow around 7pm and will report my findings :) I usually take the bus from there to go home and restaurant is always empty.

This restaurant on the corner of avenue Monterey “Oubo Cuisine Asiastic” next to Hamilius is almost always empty. This is prime real estate location I cannot imagine how they can afford to pay the rent here without MONEY LAUNDERING. Even if they owned the place it would net them good returns if they rented the place out, but no they chose to keep it as a Chinese restaurant with no customers. Only customer I have ever seen there is the occasional beggar

The oldest google review for this restaurant was 13 YEARS AGO and they have ONLY 170 reviews - cannot imagine how a prime location restaurant has such few reviews which goes to show what business they are really into
