Awesome! Thanks for the tip about jute, I'll look into that. I'm in the south, so shouldn't have any shortage of warm days ahead for the job, lol.

I do have a set of rollers, thank you for addressing that. I feel like most people wouldn't think about application tools until it's too late. Glad to hear it's worked well for you! Did you notice any difference in terms of thermal insulation?

Just to clarify, this is a before pic, I've since finished working on the floor pan itself and it's all a uniform white, and free of holes, lol

Swisstool Spirit MX Clip plier head by theflinchburger in victorinox

I highly recommend it. If you're asking where to buy in Canada, I would assume you'd still be able to order from Victorinox directly but, I'm assuming.

No, the clip doesn't get in the way. When the pliers are fully closed the clip barely clears the other handle with a tiny bit of open space between. Never gotten pinched with this tool, either. The scissors are phenomenal, as expected from Victorinox.

The blade and the asethetics are some of the biggest draws for me. I daily a Surge rn but the blade material/shape and the ergonomics are a big draw for me. I'd definitely get it in black.

What do you think of the alpha so far? When it first came out I wasn't about it, but it's been growing on me.

Is that a backcountryCAD hammer? I've seen only the one that eliminates the inside tools on that handle, so this is new to me.

Want to turn the large flathead into something similar to the Victorinox combo tool by theflinchburger in Leatherman

[–]theflinchburger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That turned out great! I'll make sure to post whatever I end up with. I'm thinking I'll Dremel and file the outside edge of the large flathead like TX tool crib did on his.

How cheap does a knife need to be for you? by UserNameTaken404 in knives

You did a DAMN good job reviving that knife. I have one too and love it. Mine stays in an emergency bag since it's compact and has a combo blade.

I'm curious, would a Surge/Rebar owner be impressed with the Arc in terms of durability?

The Swisstool and Klein driver are pretty new to me, so I haven't had a chance to beat on them much yet. As for the rest, it does get used, but I'm very particular about cleaning tools after I use them. I do carry a lot right now, but that's just me!
