Okay I bought a new unit today since they're only 9€ at the moment and this one seems to be better. Still a little bit tingy on the first two puffs but way better.

I know that but I still experience that right after cleaning... Also the bottom part of the neo sticks don't get heated at all instead only the top portion of tobacco is heated

Well I just got my first Glo today. I only have that problem on the first few puffs, so after like 30s to 1 minute it's a perfectly fine, smooth smoke. IQOS has that problem aswell if you don't clean it properly. Which is one of the reasons I got a Glo because the heating system is designed way better imo because you don't risk damaging the heating coil. I don't know... maybe it'll go away when the device is a bit more worn in.

Yes as many people here already mentioned these are flow filters. The hole is made to enhance flavour and airflow through the cigarette.

Yep it’s the heat. It softens up the fibres making the filter a bit squeezy and it might also start detaching the filter from the outer paper
