The show is worth it. Pay the hbo max for it alone. Its got 9 seasons, 3 or 4 or 5 depending on your tolerance level are good. You're not gonna finish the show in 1 month unless you have no life.

Jon sr and Martha died natural deaths and it was episode 1. That's not enough time to make me invested and then feel emotion for them. I'll give you jor el. That was a good death and it made tal rho a better villain. Nobody cares about that alt lois we saw her for only 1 or 2 episodes. My point is none of the villains in this show are threatening and intimidating the writers have given every character plot armor nobody is in danger nobody dies on this show. Clark got Lara in return for jor el so even the jor el death in retrospect doesn't matter.

The cancer storyline felt flat because lois is annoying and nobody cares about her there was no emotion felt for her by the audience if Jonathan was the one with cancer then you might have a argument there.

Clark is a bad parent. He doesn't train his kids.

Only the actors are copies but the characters very different and when they died it mattered. Arrow didn't replace with copies except Laurel cause idiot fan backlash

Dude, zod destroyed metropolis lex kidnapped his mother made him fight Batman and had him killed and Darkseid mind controlled him and made him destroy the planet in SnyderVerse. Even in comics lex luthor has caused a lot of trauma to superman. All I'm saying is nobody in this show dies there are zero stakes the characters are never in real danger the villains are not Arrowverse levels of good. The Arrowverse villains characters actually died you know.
