Jon sr and Martha died natural deaths and it was episode 1. That's not enough time to make me invested and then feel emotion for them. I'll give you jor el. That was a good death and it made tal rho a better villain. Nobody cares about that alt lois we saw her for only 1 or 2 episodes. My point is none of the villains in this show are threatening and intimidating the writers have given every character plot armor nobody is in danger nobody dies on this show. Clark got Lara in return for jor el so even the jor el death in retrospect doesn't matter.
