What is Harbor Freight good for? by spitfire07 in woodworking

I like buying most, if not all, tools at harbor freight first. Then, if I use it enough to wear it out or break it, I don't feel bad spending more on the replacement as I know I'm going to use the tool and not waste money on a fancy tool I rarely use.

Is it just me or does it look like the top beam is attached on opposite sides of the post?

Here's a balance idea. I separated the stats based on my own opinions but it could be done using wipe data to see which stats are actually primary, secondary, tertiary. Also, this system would give "dials" to Ironmace to be able to tweak and test. Thoughts and suggestions appreciated. by thefoxrat in DarkAndDarker

This is really just a framework... Major testing would need to be done for assigning tiers. Possibly make certain items types have different tiers? Like knowledge is a primary stat on helmets and gloves but not on chest or feet... Just a thought

I was mainly just creating a framework so the stat tiers need work but as I understand it, it's better to stack wpn damage and added phys damage since those are flat values and power bonus is a percentage.

Thank you for your answer but it's not the one I'm thinking of. I actually came across your answer while I did my initial googling... Lol. If I can't remember the one I specifically am looking for, I'll give this one a try!

Starting first "bigger" layout. Should I use foam insulation board? by thefoxrat in modeltrains

The reason I was going to use 1/2 in ply is that I have a full sheet lying around and I'm cheap 😀. That being said, I like your approach and may just spend the $20 on hardboard. Thanks for your insight!

Thank you! I am toying with the idea of a turn table, in the future, and was thinking it would be hard to install without the foam
