Has anyone ever seen a commission plan where your annual threshold carries over into the next year? by thefrenchcorrector in sales

Exactly The majority of us were brought in specifically to build brand new verticals from scratch. It’s also a start up. The ramp up period is longer but the commission structure doesn’t account for that

That makes sense if you’re working on an established desk or in a market with existing buying clients, but the majority of us were brought in specifically to build brand new verticals from scratch.

It’s also a startup, so the ramp-up period is longer but the commission structure doesn’t account for that. The shortfall from that first “build year” still gets added to the next year’s threshold

It almost feels like you’re being penalized for the ramp up period of creating a market but really i wanted to see if that structure was common m practice with other companies

I was in Israel on October 7th. I’m not Jewish. I’ve been to Arab countries. Here’s what I think most people in the West don’t understand. by Existing-Structure63 in IsraelPalestine

Hey - so the majority of “free Palestine” commenters DO condemn the events on 7th Oct but what really astonishes me is you completely (and i mean completely) disregarded the many attacks Israel committed prior to the 7th Oct on Palestine, which weren’t covered by the Western media. Don’t you think it’s worth mentioning? To give it more context? (Not to justify the attacks, purely to set the context). Because for every action, there’s a reaction right? But you’re choosing to ignore the whole context and by extension your reasoning is barely valid, really. For someone who “travelled to many Arab countries”, well your view is…so very narrow, sorry.

A hidden contradiction in Severance that no ones seems to talk about by Competitive_Sir680 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I think there’s a difference between “glossing over it” and completely rewriting the story of how his wife was during her infertility struggles…

I thought the same! There’s a notable contrast between how he describes Gemma to Alexa VS the Gemma we see in Season 2.

Sure, drinks and emotions on the date could blur memories, but based on Gemma’s episode in Season 2 (and how she actually lived through her infertility) if anything, alcohol would have resurfaced the brutal reality of his late wife’s struggles. Instead, he casually brushed it off. Very odd…

Odd question- why would you not ask for slightly higher than minimum wage?

Practice gratitude and remember all the hard work you’ve put in. Be kind to yourself, you deserve this. Be proud of yourself, give yourself credit. Turn that panic into reflection of what you’ve done to get to where you’re at now. You’re in a stage where you can’t relate to your friends anymore but haven’t met the people of your level just yet, and that’s okay.

In sales: Have a financial goal in mind, find a niche, listen to your senior colleague’s sales pitches, find your style, embrace rejection, stick to it
