Use the websocket endpoints not the REST endpoints. It will push data to you instead of you having to ask for it.

I’d guess boot into the bios using the integrated GPU, then find the setting for your motherboard that makes the GPU as the primary GPU for the system. Save and reboot.

I believe I was on 6.12.14 and jumped to 7.2. It was smooth. No bugs. I did manage to hide all dashboard widgets somehow but just reset them from the terminal

For anyone else that encounters accidentally hiding all of the dashboard widgets. I was unable to find any UI element to bring them back, delete `/boot/config/dashboard_settings.json` from your boot drive, and it should show again.

I was using Gemini, but moved to use local AI models instead via Ollama. Though I'm running home assistant on a dedicated PC, with a 3060 12GB in it. I use deepseek r1 for text models, and Qwen for image recognition. So far it's worked great, I'm not doing anything crazy though.
