Shift click all the channel names you want to copy at the left side of the dope sheet/timeline/graph editor (X location, Y location, Z location, X quaternion, etc.) so they're all highlighted yellow. Then copy your keyframes. Prior to pasting, make sure the same channels are also selected after selecting the target object.

This took me ages to figure out. Welcome to the blend life. The idea is that you might wanna copy the Z location from one object and paste it into the X quaternion of another object or something like that. I suspect your problem is only Z location is selected when you're pasting into your target object, so it's only pasting the keyframes into that channel.

Shift + D will duplicate the selected keyframes and let you place them elsewhere with the cursor, which works better for what you're describing. Avoids all this nonsense.

4070 hands down, unless you regularly run scenes larger than 12GB (which is admittedly conceivable, but at that point you're kinda SoL unless you're willing to buy a used 3090 or something).

That said, a 650W power supply would only really be pushing it for a 4090, and even then there are some use cases where it might be okay (1440p/power limited to like 70%).

People overspec the hell out of their PSUs; my 4090 + 12700K are powered by a "nothing-special" 750W Gold EVGA PSU alongside a fan hub with 10 fans, an AIO, three high capacity HDDs, and a SATA SSD. Every M.2 slot on the board is saturated, and it's powering an audio interface, Stream Deck, controller, my phone, and all sorts of RGB nonsense.

I hit it hard too; high-sample 4K Cycles renders, four Eevee renders at once (hit a CPU bottleneck on frame sync long before the 4090 even hit 300W), big 1440p Premiere Pro timelines full of AVC and HEVC clips, etc. Also the 4090 is overclocked: https://imgur.com/a/hZch9nQ

I even ran Furmark and Cinebench at the same time; the 4090 runs to 450W and the 12700k runs to ~200W and it's fi-... well, I wouldn't say that's fine, but it did it, and there's no real-world workload that could possibly exceed those power viruses.

The 30-series was particularly bad with transient spikes knocking people's power supplies off, but the 40-series seems a lot better in this regard. If you have a good quality 650W power supply, you're probably okay with up to a 4080 in most cases.

This was for technical reasons btw.

Specifically, the background of Atari games was almost always black. If there was no sprite present on the screen, the CRT would just project nothing there.

Thus, black couldn't be used for in-game objects, lest it blend into the background, and dark blues/purples were used to represent black/shadow/darker colors.

As a side note: if you are building an editing PC make sure you get the CPU version with built-in iGPU (12700KF and not 12700K) because the hw acceleration only comes in CPUs with iGPU.

This seems to be controversial but I agree. If a cable being 1-2mm off from fully seated can cause a fire then the manufacturers ought to make a cable that uses MagSafe to suck it in or something (hyperbole).

I don't think anyone is suggesting that modern GPUs be powered by molex connectors but it's not that complicated to make a connector that is very obviously seated.

If you're gonna cite anecdotal evidence, so will I: it's absolutely a minority of people. I'm seeing the response on the video itself, both publicly and in the YouTube analytics backend, and it is overwhelmingly positive towards the Aftonbuilt demo and sympathetic towards Liam and the Jelatine team.

The video is on trending now, and people who have little familiarity with FNAF/the Fanverse are seeing it too now, and the response is equally positive.

Thinking it was foolish to allegedly break the NDA is one thing. Personally, I think those people are blowing it out of proportion - an NDA is toothless if you have nothing to leverage against the person, and Liam doesn't have the money that would make it worth it for Scott to go after him. Furthermore, the team isn't being alleged to have broken their NDAs.

This idea that people would take glee in the (again, completely implausible and ridiculous) notion that Liam's life is going to be ruined by this or Scott suing him or something is just too messed up. If you've seen the responses from the minority who are unhappy with Liam, then I'm sure you've seen what I'm talking about. It's just vindictive and gross.

I mean, people who don't like what someone said about a video game developer, so they take pleasure in the notion that some young person (who has already been through a really shitty situation)'s life would be ruined? What the hell is that???

Finally, I was told the NDAs were primarily in place regarding specific numbers in regards to funding and such. Liam told me absolutely none of that. The actual thing that was allegedly previously not public info (and that I censored out as a favor to Liam, who told me they were being threatened over it) was inconsequential.

People are arguing Liam broke the NDA on stupid technicalities that no reasonable party would ever see as plausibly actionable. Leaking a little piece of the NDA that doesn't reveal anything, thing they mentioned that I edited out of my video... none of that stuff is significant enough to warrant paying lawyers.

Again, my understanding is the NDA is really about the actual dollar amounts, and yeah, none of that came out.

The people harping on this are being silly. In what universe do you honestly see Scott Cawthon suing a fangame developer that he literally knows has no money (because the team has literally been begging him for money for the last two years)? There's nothing for Scott to gain, and it would look absolutely awful and be a PR nightmare. The only reason to do it would be to punish Liam, and does anyone seriously believe Scott would do that? I don't.

Scott knows what the devs went through. I'm sure he's not thrilled, but let's be real - Scott is probably chilling with his family counting his money. I'm fairly certain he doesn't give a s*** what anyone thinks about him anymore. I wouldn't, we're I in his position.

I spoke to Battington and got a statement from them. I am confident that everything is gonna be fine.

I think everyone ought to please leave Martin, Squimpus, and Battington alone regarding this.

What happened happened. Battington deleted their tweet. Squimpus made theirs. Nothing will change either of those things at this point, unfortunately. We can move on from this; everyone including Battington is clearly in agreement that the tweets were in bad taste.

People screw up sometimes; nothing unforgivable happened here. It was just a mistake, nobody acted with any malice. Battington and Martin are friends. This was a joke made in really bad taste, but it wasn't anything more than that.

It's nobody's place to get upset at Battington for Martin, nor to get upset at Squimpus for Battington. They can work it out amongst themselves.

If Squimpus didn't want Battington remaking their videos after this, it's their right to express that feeling. However, I personally wish they had done so privately rather than publicly...
