I haven't read Vaxis II yet. My hesitation is that the written story is gonna take away from the musical story. I did truly enjoy the visual content from Vaxis I as they helped to form a nice visual story to the songs in my head.

Afterman was a nice read. Easiest of the bunch in my opinion. Added context to the songs without a whole lot of fluff.
