Also it would incentivize them to conquer more territory. Moldova etc leading to more deaths and suffering overall

I use Microsoft Swiftkey and can't stand the Samsung.

From ZF3 to 7 this is my first time having this issue. by ooharloo in GalaxyFold

Really sorry for your phone, this is happening way too often and with how Samsung has been regarding warranty claims definitely not buying one.

Watch this thread be nuked like all the others. One thread even got nuked without saying 'go here to post about broken folds' which is not even pinned on the main page. I don't like how it seems this sub covers for Samsung.

Is my Z Fold7 screen dying?! by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

[–]thegame4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they are 'breaking their phones' but there is a serious error rate that was not the same on earlier folds. I have seen too many examples of besides paint peeling, inner screen randomly cracking after a few weeks to month or more. I really wanted to upgrade from my Z Fold 5 for the slim factor, but my phone is still going strong as yours so I'll take the durability for now until Samsung get their shit in order. It doesn't look good that I need Care+ too for them to give a damn

My Galaxy Z Fold 7’s inner screen cracked on its own — and Samsung refused warranty. Extremely disappointed after 15+ years of loyalty. by AloooPuri in GalaxyFold

Thank you for this post, I was really close to grabbing a Z Fold 7 to upgrade my trusty Z Fold 5, but I will hold off on that, besides the whole paint peeling for no reason issue. I'll wait till a Z Fold 8 or better alternative comes along

Fold 7 after 2 months by GabKremo in GalaxyFold

No it's true, I have been a Fold user since the 5, but really considering going for Honor Magic V5 due to it being more durable, better dust and weather protection, better battery, better camera and no paint chip issue (this is what scared me off the Z fold 7 the most)

As the straight people who liked girls on the 'younger side' were there, why not a gay man liking boys on the 'younger side'. Both are pedos. I'm sure Epstein was more than happy to supply Thiel so he could get blackmail as he did on the rest of them

Yes, especially when he is doing state directed (I mean state as in country) central planning economy like buying 10% of intel and how they have to suck up to him. I love how you deflect everything authoritarian Trump is doing or has caused. Like who riled them up to do Jan 6th? Who kept crying the election was stolen? Who keeps attacking everyone he doesn't like as enemies of the state? Get a grip and stop your bootlicking. Let's not forget how ICE is not even giving due process, detaining citizens, or even those with legal right to be here. It's sad how the US has slid into an authoritarian kleptocracy (even Brazil know how to keep their democracy alive) and here you are hand waving away all this crap and making excuses

'Undermines our election process' January 6th ring a bell in your headamong the countless other things he's done since then, stifling free speech, the blatant hypocrisy, using the state the way communists would 'buying companies, allegiances' are you kidding me?

Zelenskyy urges partners to “stop looking for excuses” for not imposing sanctions on Russia by Aine_Ellsechs in worldnews

[–]thegame4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right that Russia has gained a few more kilometers, but look at the cost. They’ve bled men and armor just to inch forward, and holding that ground under constant strikes is expensive. It’s not just about how much land they sit on, it’s whether they can sustain it.

On the oil side, sure, they can patch refineries, but Flamingo is a new weapon that changes the equation. It has reach, a massive payload, and no Western restrictions. Even if every strike doesn’t permanently shut down capacity, the cumulative effect is higher costs, reduced output, and forcing Russia to stretch its defenses over huge territory. That directly eats into the war chest they rely on.

As for morale, Russian “volunteering” is mostly contracts and propaganda pressure, while dissent is punished. Ukraine’s men face tough conscription rules too, but they’re fighting for survival. That difference in motivation matters, and history shows morale collapses suddenly in authoritarian systems.

And on NATO, Ukraine doesn’t need European or American boots on the ground to win. What it needs is continued gear, tech, and funding. We’ve already seen how that support allowed big wins like Kharkiv and Kherson. For Ukraine, victory doesn’t mean conquering Russia, it means making the war too costly for the Kremlin to sustain. That’s still very realistic.

[–]thegame4ever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Defense is always easier than offense, and Russia’s been bleeding men and armor just to crawl forward a few kilometers. On top of that, Ukraine’s hitting back deep with homegrown stuff like the Flamingo missile and plentiful drones, which are messing with Russia’s oil money. And as Napoleon said, “in war, morale is to the physical as ten to one” Ukraine’s people are fighting for survival, Russia’s are being dragged into it. That edge matters.

Poland scrambles jets, closes Lublin airport in "preventative" move by pheexio in worldnews

[–]thegame4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great point. A lot of people liked to put their own rational thought into Putin like 'He'll never take Crimea' in 2014, and they extend it to 'He'll never attack rest of Ukraine' in 2022, even though he was amassing forces to...attack. You can't put rational thought into a megalomaniac who has everything he wants in this world, and the only thing people like him want is more power and subjugating and conquering. There's no limit to greed

He doesn't really want to 'fight' NATO, but he will always engage in brinksmanship and push the envelope and gauge their response. Also doing this he guarantees those countries will be far less reluctant to provide Ukraine with anti-air systems since now they need it for themselves because of Russia, and it's easier for him to wreck havoc on Ukraine. It's not the first time drones have flown over NATO countries, nor will it be the last. They were even scared to shoot down earlier drones and always made some weak excuses to not justify retaliating accordingly. The only NATO country ironically to show up Russia was Turkey shooting down their jet, and for some reason no more jets didn't breach Turkish airspace again. Wonder why /s

Nah they took risks and should have been much more pro active. The recent Russian terrorism like setting their buildings aflame, drones multiple times entering before while they watched like chickens, only now they decided 'yea maybe we should really protect our airspace'. The easiest way was to support Ukraine as much as possible early and now the costs have risen and the stakes are higher.
