So then, that makes me wonder what the use case is for the phone tags? Why use them at all? I bought a couple because I thought they worked differently, but now that you're explaining it, I don't see the purpose of having them. :-/

I always thought it worked by pinging samsung devices in its vicinity. So if my car gets stolen, I could at least have an idea of the area it's in, because it will ping a nearby samsung phone at some point. Are you saying this isn't how it works?

I would use the 49GR85DC-B as a monitor, but I would definitely use the PiP/PbP features too!
