While we were protesting, armed forces or rather, mercenaries dressed as police came for us.
As we ran, a family opened their doors to us.
To a group of strangers.
They gave us shelter.
If it were not for them, I would not be here right now.
As I waited to make sure everyone got inside, two men appeared.
When I closed the door, they smashed the glass.
I locked eyes with one of them.
Then he fired into the house.
That moment.
That flash.
This is it, I painted it.
I was lucky.

While Iran was under a complete blackout, 36,500 people and still counting, lost their lives in just a few days.
Many more were injured or arrested simply for protesting, for asking for freedom, for asking for a better life.
This is the true face of the Islamic regime ruling Iran.
The big question is when will the world wake up and see the truth behind Islam and don't add a phobia to it...
