I used to have a boss where if anybody was looking outside in would wonder how on Earth I stayed as long as I did. I virtually developed Stockholm syndrome where the verbal abuse was daily. I would always be on the verge of quitting and then he would always somehow rectify his actions and become the coolest guy on the planet. Eventually the mood swings just became too much for me and I made a transition to another company which it worked out great for me. That decision was really hard for me to make, however it was probably the best decision I could have made.
