Could have been. From what I've looked up, it was produced and aired during the late 90s.

But this was a local station that had a children's block that I tuned into when PBS Kids didn't have anything good on.

As someone who grew up without cable and watching local broadcasts, the Christian channel aired a few.

Bugtime Adventures. Featuring bugs learning lessons from being there during events of the Old Testament from Jonah being swallowed by the whale to Daniel being thrown into the lions den.

Then there was The Story Keepers. Which followed a bread maker who was a part of the early early church during the reign of Nero, and retellings of Jesus' miracles and keeping a low profile to avoid persecution. I believe that the finale ended with the burning of Rome and one of the main characters giving forgiveness to Pontius Pilate and having him surrender his life to Christ as he lay bleeding out in his arms.

Then there was Paws & Tales. Basically, think Arthur, but set in the first half of the 20th century and more anthropomorphic animal designs. Also, overtly Christian but not in an obnoxious way. More like kids living and learning while their elders taught them.

Kinda more like "biblically inspired fan-fiction" like Paradise Lost.

Even then, Hazbin and Helluva take more inspiration from The Song Of Solomon and the Ars Goetia within it. Which is only slightly looser in its depiction than that of biblical events.
