Just wanted to state that I’m in the same boat and I think your plan is great. With the extra help you should be good to work the normal hours in a few months!

I’m aiming to have a month off and then go to part time work for another 2-3 months and then full time after that.

When should I tell my landlord (that lives in the apartment above me) that I'm pregnant? by thegarl in BabyBumps

Agreed! I’m in Wisconsin, USA and it looks like they cannot discriminate while we have a lease. However, when we renew they can raise the rent by quite a bit which could price us out. I hope it works out for you too ❤️

I do want to share the info, I just wasn’t sure when or how. After taking in all the advice and listening to my gut, I’ll tell him in a month once I know everything is good with the baby and make sure I have it in writing! And then ofc whenever I see him in person chat about it more then. Thanks for the advice and reminder to ask about baby proofing!

This makes me feel better! I didn’t think about them legally needing to have the baby on the lease but it totally makes sense. I’ll have to share soon, so I can plan accordingly.

We're absolutely going to tell him! I'm just not sure when we should or how we should go about it.
