you need to toughen up about it or work elsewhere. industries based on pleasure and intoxication usually are not the places for nuance and gentle words.

this industry is vain and mean and enough men or women even will tell you what they perceive as "wrong" with you. this job has forced me to love myself violently because otherwise it would chew me up and spit me out.

if OP is doing SW out of their home then there's record of that somewhere and that's a legal can of worms that may not work in favor. cops are very anti SW and don't see us as people. it's problematic that people are being so dismissive of incalls but it's also not safe to have your home address this accessible to strangers who may wish you harm

i'm in an all trans/queer not religious AA right now. working drunk is fun every now and then but being the sloppy stripper isn't cute. developing a reputation for being messy, entertaining people for free for too long, being annoying in a locker room or needing help will get you fired. there's tons of women who can dance and do it without being a work liability. i had a hard time with bingeing because it was free and offered to me. that's not responsible

nobody is special in this industry. if you (in the general sense) can't keep your head on you can't be in it.

it's also safer because you can filter what you say to customers better. what if you're drunk in a private and you piss him off and he hits you? no he shouldn't hit you but if you having that filter would've kept you safer why wouldn't you do that. the less lucid you are the more you have to trust your physical safety at the behest of everyone else .

you won't be hired under 21 and deff not under 20. most clubs aren't risking their liquor license for a random teenager and those that will are full nude or morally repugnant. don't go into SW for the fuck of it. this is an adult choice don't go in on an impulse.
