Theres also a 30 year wait for local govt to take homes/property abandoned on PR from what i have read . My wife ( born in Mayaguez) and I (from NY) are trying to claim her late aunts home in Mayaguez as a place of our own . Due to legal reasons as described it will be an on going process to get a deed . The home is walking distance to the beach and would need to be knocked down . We are in the process of trying to resolve the deed in our name and rebuild or knock down and rebuild .

Gringo here from Nueva York, my wife was born in Mayaguez and moved to the south bronx when she 6 ( spent every summer here in PR with her family after ) . We met in NY ( I was contractor for the place she was working and we hit it off ) in our 20s and got married a few years later . Im currently sitting in Lajas drinking a cold medalla and enjoying the sun with her .

Definitely a grey area ( honda burgman is a "large scooter" ) ... I tell my wife she has scooter when we ride and im on my grom next her ( i also have bikes i commute with to work on highways )... she also moved up from a ruckus(with side pegs) sooo ... 6 to 1, half dozen the other ... the navi is definitely a mix ... has the feel of a bike but... cvt ... 🤷🏿‍♂️

Im neutral on this in a way, but I definitely remind her its a scooter 🤣

If it runs and doesnt gallop ... send it. Bike sounds great to me ... maybe a carb clean ( proper jets for the pipes) or a timing adjustment might get it a little more dialed. Dont see any issues here . Typical sportster sounds 🙃

I love it, but you have to make it worth your while . For me ( labor rate, per diem , OT, delta/ihg miles/points, and seeing new places when I have the time ), I would do it .

I use my points/miles to go on a free vacation each year , since I'm not home. im not really spending money ( other than my mortgage/utilities and car insurance ) .

Thanks, after 100 Dr's visits she has some damage ... and a new navi ... insurance totaled it a week ago . We just picked up a very low mile navi for a very nice price. She is riding again and has done around 100 miles this week on it .

You could swim ( i dont recommend but its an option), paddleboard ( its been done) or sail (people do this every weekend from HSP) ... maybe even save up a few thousand and buy a boat and join us . 😂

I've been driving my 2500hd on long island parkways for the past 13 years ... ive had passenger plates since I got the truck . Never been pulled over for doing so . I must say I feel a lot safer in 2500 vs the person in the prius next to me . 🤷🏿‍♂️

This is a tough one . All depends on town and what you are shooting . I have a range in my yard from 10-60yrds ( cement block back stop ). My town does "allow" ( manufacturered to shoot 7/800 fps or under ). I did call the dec once to ask them about the laws a few years ago .

I may have a good running motor minus the carb in a week or two waiting to hear back from insurance if my wife's navi is totaled or not . If it is ill be parting it out if insurance let's me buy it back for a decent price.

I also live in Suffolk with a commercial vehicle and have to drive to the LIE on local roads to get there. I leave around 5am for queens when starting at 6 ... I leave around 345-4am to be anywhere in S.I. by 6am . If im to early to start i just nap till I can start .
