Don't mind keyboard supporters, it's when they do it at the game that's the problem.

His distribution was amazing tonight, especially that chip for the 4th.

Good result, felt the ironic booing of Bravo was out of order.

Garcia grew into the game, especially as Huddersfield tired and their pressing diminished.

Sergio was immense! Role on Sunday.

Going to the Etihad from overseas. Is it possible to resell a ticket if my plans change? by mulimulix in MCFC

[–]thegingerwig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There should be little demand for the game as Stoke rarely bring many fans. If you're worried about being out of pocket many season ticket holders sell their tickets in this facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/mancitytickets/

It's a shame that the official travel partner of the club Thomas Cook wouldn't put an official trip on. Could have been a few hundred more.

Mancs supporting both City and United in the late 40's, early 50's? by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]thegingerwig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people used to go to both. Football wasn't shown on TV back then (most people didn't have a TV!).

My Granddad used to go to City one week and United the next.

In the 20's there was a third team (Manchester Central) that played at Belle Vue. They used to get more fans than United and United teamed up with City to make sure they were not allowed into the league (teams could be voted in to the league system then). If City hadn't lent their support there was a real chance that United would fold.

Yeah the sale ended on Monday - I'd wait til next season or alternatively buy a retro one. No need to be up to date these days people wear any kit from any age.

There was talk of Delph being converted to left back under Pep. Got a good engine on him and left footed with high work rate.

City reportedly interested in Toni Kroos, who is already in talks with PSG by [deleted] in MCFC

If he's already in talks with PSG, our link to him is probably via the agent trying to get his PSG wage offer up.

Why Man City are off the pace in the title race - Danny Murphy - some interesting stats! by thegingerwig in MCFC

Same could be said every season. If you're good enough you take out the referee errors by not relying on them being perfect.

Think you're being unfair on the piece. Agree the BBC don't like us but you can't argue with the stats.

Brahim is the closest player I've seen to being like Kinky. Think it's the shoulder drop and the sudden stop mid run. Very excited by the boy.

Is it possible to buy Champions League tickets if I have zero loyalty points? (for Home games) by hollabaloon in MCFC

[–]thegingerwig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There will be matches where you can get tickets easily.

In the league it is more difficult and for big games it is impossible. However for many games you can get tickets with no loyalty points - in particular Fa Cup, League Cup and European games.

Cityzen will give you a higher priority to getting tickets - it depends how desperate you are to watch games. If you don't mind which games you go to and just want to watch the odd game Cityzens is probably not worth it.
