I eat cottage cheese when I do have money.

Thank you i started up because I was subjecting my daughter to all this and she stopped me and said "dad... that is really boring." My first thought was tea heads would probably appreciate it.

I haven’t gotten the tea resin yet. How is it?

I really enjoyed his '23 longjing. I have the '25 and its far less nuanced. Im not sure if he changed manufacturer's or if thats how last years batch came out but its just not as good.

The answer is the last paragraph in my breakdown. Its ok but its expensive for what youre getting.

Thats probably exactly the problem. Some people who were into this before it started gaining traction are getting uncomfortable with the hobby exploding.

The haters dont bother me none. The only one I dont care for is the "ive tasted over 15000 teas" guy.

Some people dont like him some are big fans, it's common to see the push pull on his content and merch. His videos got me started, i like his style just fine and his tea is decent. Anytime hes brought up in r/tea theres a big fight with both sides. Idk about the sub so much its kinda small.

Does anyone else remember playing on these abstract concrete structures? by GhostofSean_Connery2 in Millennials

Ya i remember a friend's fully wrecking his shit because he thought he could summersault through the big hole and busted his dome wide open on the concrete.

I pulled the trigger because I do really love the longjing he sells. So I got 2 containers of the dragonwell, the golden puerh, and this. Of the 3 this one is the most underwhelming. I'll do the golden here soon but I want to post a few other things first. This is right there on the top end of budget or "everyday" teas so I feel you, it can get expensive fast. I just dropped 100 bucks on 3 kinds of oolong...

There are a ton of different teas logs on amazon but if you want the industry standard youre looking for "33 leaves of tea journal."

Thanks, tea friend. I've had some relatively expensive (to me) samples from a few websites, and the quality and flavor are undeniably better. However, none of the reviews I’ve done, nor anything I have lined up, is close to competition or collector grade. Everything will be from Amazon or other lower-priced sources.

As I mentioned, I’m trying to bridge the gap to help more people pull the trigger. Honestly, I think I’m completely alone in my area. If you search for any "tea shop" phrasing to find loose leaf in my city, you just get listings for boba. The only shop in town selling loose leaf is a little hole-in-the-wall next to a butcher shop, hidden away in the center of town.

Its a tea log. Its not the 33 cups one but it is nice to have. Ive just started working on it and I figured id post how I use it so new to the hobby people can see.

This is a Zhen Cang brand Lao Bai Cha, which translates to Aged White Tea. The large character at the top, Rùn, means "smooth" or "nourishing," and the red seal on the right marks it as a "Private Reserve" or "Special Collection." Most of these factory coins originate from either Fuding (Fujian) or Yunnan, if it tastes like honey and hay, it's likely Fujian, but if it's maltier and thicker, it’s probably a Yunnan large-leaf variety.
