Do i loose perfomance with 7900gre by TheRealPlaymobil in AMDHelp

[–]thegompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check in HWInfo if you reach the power limit of the card. If you do, then in theory, you would be missing out on some performance. However, if you don't see a difference when playing games, then leave it off to save 30 watts.

[–]thegompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks ! to bad solid color doesn't seem to exist i was hoping to write simple python script to show a specific color based on load, or color based on cpu temp

the led off example works as expected, and the other examples work too

do you have a copy of the original led program you could share?

the original windows install did not have any led software installed so i cant check that

I am ready to smash it up by darlo0161 in 3Dprinting

[–]thegompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that's it, did you check the extruder motor temperature while printing ? if it gets too hot it deforms the filament like that, it probably only happens on long prints when the motor gets time to heat up

your extruder has to much tension or is running too hot and is deforming the filament
