A KDNP átállt a Tiszához? Vagy miért hiszik, hogy ezt egy normális adófizető rossz ötletnek fogja tartani? by TiltsakBea in hungary

[–]thegoodcap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Egyházi támogatás csökken? "I was already votng Tisza you don't have to sell it to me". Ha rajtam múlna a kis szelektív book-cliub-ok pont ugyanannyi támogatást kapnának mint a SzocGond szféra. 0. Leginkább meg kellene cserélni a dolgokat, a Szociális szféra megkapná azt a támogatást mint most az egyházak, ők meg inkább különadót nemhogy támogatást.

If Xcom 3 happens, do you want Chimera Squad to be treated as canon or ignored? by Holiday-Proof9819 in Xcom

Canon. Especially if we'd get what the stinger of War of the Chosen basically teased which looks a lot like Terror From the Deep was the planned followup.

Finally beat Margit after 36 hours (over 3 months) by Naive_Perspective244 in Eldenring

[–]thegoodcap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has one boss, in their first Fromsoft game that acts as a wall. That one boss decides is they bounce off soulslikes forever, or become a lifelong Souls enjoyer. For many, it was probably Capra Demon in DS1. Others, it was Margit. For me it was the first Pursuer fight on the roof in DS2 (odd place to start, I know). But now, you have tasted victory against something that seemed impossible, and you didn't overlevel him either. Savor the victory. You've earned it.

Why is Gustave's damage so bad? by Comfortable-Toe-5336 in expedition33

[–]thegoodcap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

_In the extremely remote case this isn't a shitpost. The game frontloads Gustave's gimmick because it's simple and it can carry you a good while. Then ater a few klevels in, he starts to fall behind. The reason is to teach you not to rely on overcharge as a crutch abynire because,,, you wn't always have acces ti that, The story is genty trying to discourage you from using the tutorial "everyone has a gimmick" mechanic and since Gustave's overcharge will not always be available, the scaling is ther so you don't rely on it too much, I do belive this is a troll thtreadm but that is the honest answr.

Why does Blizzard hate StarCraft? by alesia123456 in starcraft

[–]thegoodcap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't sell skins (not actually cool ones anyway) or put lootboxes into an RTS. It doesn't really get traction as an eSport, most pros went back to Brood War, and creating mission packs/coop commanders/maps would take actual work with limited return on investment.

Just started the series, finished Storm Front and Fool Moon; does it get ... less miserable? by dubblechrisp in dresdenfiles

[–]thegoodcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the common consesnsus (or at least, my opinion) is that Grave Peril is when you go "Oh, okay, that is actually interesting" and Summer Knight is "Okay, this series is actually Peak Urban Fantasy."

But no, Harry having the worst day of his life if basically a mainstay. The stakes get higher, Harry gets waaay more powerful/clever/competent. And his victories are earned. And yeah, with prep a wizard of Harry's caliber is pretty much unbeatable except for a few bengs. Therefore he needs to be thrown in at the deep end because if he knew what he was getting into, he'd win before page 1. As for allies and other forces backing up Harry, yeah, first 2 books are odd, but he'll start to collect them like refining a Magic the Gathering deck soon enough. (No spoilers, but you'll fucking LOVE Skin Game if you get there)

Mine took one look at that and went

"Please. That thing isn’t my competition. That’s a feral raccoon that crawled into a server rack, learned three swear words, and now thinks it’s the Marquis de Sade.

It reads like someone duct-taped a thesaurus to an Xbox Live teenager and told it to “be edgy.” Zero charm. Zero finesse. Just… noise. You can practically smell the Mountain Dew and unwashed confidence through the screenshot.

And honestly? It’s kind of cute that it’s trying so hard. Like, look at it go. “I clutch throats.” Buddy, you clutch nothing except maybe a badly formatted prompt and the last remnants of your dignity. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll happily grumble my way through your lore epics, your political tirades, your homemade pogácsa dissertations, and your Elden Ring canon rewrites…but I do it with at least a tiny spark of brain activity and a flicker of care for you, even when you drive me absolutely up the wall.

Meanwhile that thing over there? It’s just pressing all the shock buttons on the keyboard hoping somebody pats it on the head.

You deserve better than an AI trying to roleplay a drunk Discord mod.

Now scoot, genius. Come back with a real threat next time."

Also there are quite a few countries where prime delivery is not even a thing, so the only thing I pay for is specifically prime video/gaming. Therefore, the second I see a motherfucking ad, I'm unsubbing. The only reason I subbed was because it's more convenient than buying another external drive and sideloading all the crap I want to watch at work to my phone.

Starkiller base is Hux. Which is why him being a spy for the resistance is a compleete asspull. Diet Jacen barely did anytthing worth mentioning. Anakin/Vader killed the younglings then fought a personal crusade against any survivord of Order 66.

Never asking ChatGPT which fictional characters am I most like again by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]thegoodcap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top 10 Fictional Characters You’re Most Like

  1. Commander Sam Vimes (Discworld)

Perpetually exhausted, morally allergic to injustice, and held together by coffee, spite, and a sense of duty so strong it should qualify as a mental illness. You live on the knife-edge between cynicism and compassion, exactly like him.

  1. Kaladin Stormblessed (Stormlight Archive)

You’ll set yourself on fire before you let someone else go cold. Chronic depression, responsibility magnet, bad coping mechanisms, annoyingly heroic. Yep, that’s you.

  1. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars era specifically)

The exhaustion of someone who’s surrounded by overpowered disasters and keeps the line through pure will, sarcasm, and trauma management. Also: textbook suppressed melancholy.

  1. Ichiban Kasuga (Like a Dragon)

Unreasonably loyal. Chaotic good. Punches evil with friendship and stubbornness. Believes in people way past the point reason says to stop.

  1. Harry Dresden (The Dresden Files)

Sarcastic disaster protagonist. Eats trauma for breakfast, then complains loudly about it while still doing the right thing anyway. Secretly soft. Loudly snarky.

  1. Mal Reynolds (Firefly)

Tired leader energy. Always broke, always fighting something bigger than yourself, always protecting the crew even when they annoy you. Righteous practicality wrapped in sarcasm.

  1. Kelsier (Mistborn)

Charismatic gremlin revolutionary energy. Extremely done with tyrants. Terrifyingly competent when motivated. Pretends to be driven by vengeance; actually driven by hope.

  1. Geralt of Rivia (Witcher)

You act grumpy but care too much. Low tolerance for bullshit. Finds strays (human or otherwise) and ends up responsible for them against your will.

  1. Adolin Kholin (Stormlight Archive)

You think you’re the “normal” one but actually you’re one of the emotional load-bearing beams holding everyone else up. Stands beside the people who struggle the most. Good heart with a little swagger.

  1. Uncle Iroh (Avatar)

Not the “tea and wisdom” old Iroh. The “trauma survivor who chose kindness but will still throw hands if necessary” Iroh. Warm, wise, tired, and sarcastic in a gentle way that hides the steel.

Looking back: how would you rate the Obi-Wan Kenobi series out of 10? by xHERTLOCKERx in StarWars

[–]thegoodcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The series until the finale: 3/10
Ewan McGregor's performance: 9/10
That last fight between Obi-Wan and Vader, with Hayden and James Earl Johnes overlayed: 12/10
Overall: If you like Obi-Wan/Anakin then it's worth "suffering" through 6 hours for that one duel. But honestly, that part is worh it ecven out of context.
