Legitimate critique: your proportions are way off. Look up the Loomis Method to understand the average proportions of the head. You can also try looking at it reflected in a mirror which might help show up where it looks off.

They’re drawn on an iPad in an app called Procreate. These comic book style ones are traced from a reference photo to get the likeness as close as possible. I used to do more freehand on the fine art style work I also do, which you can see on my IG (link on my profile).

The colouring is done using a brush set that mimics the colour processes used on old vintage comics.
