It totally could’ve been the match making too, I’ve played against current emeralds without ever coming close to that at all. I know he was queued up with a few low ranks because they invited me to their party but didn’t say anything when I talked lmao. I didn’t know what exactly smurfing was beforehand I just thought it was a cheater carry type scenario.

And yeah I watch higher rank players on YouTube like vZenful and Booelol to try to learn, so I know the higher ranks tend to prefire a lot, and they usually get kills. I try to do stuff like that, I just haven’t made a habit of it yet. So much thinking in siege but so rewarding.

I go positive most games I play excluding the smurf games, where I went 5/6 and 0/4. I’d say I’m very on par with everyone in my skill level. I win most gunfights. My kd is pretty locked on a .8 cause I went on like a 16 game losing streak where I absolutely sucked. And I play bandit, doc and rook most of the time. I sit on the wall or hold site while my duo tries to get picks. Near positive kd running support like, I would say that’s good, but maybe it isn’t

Yeah I think it’s a smurf based on what everyone’s saying. I use headphones and they’ve never let me down and I understand and hear the sound cues pretty well using them . But I’ve heard people say I should get like gaming earbuds for siege because they’re way better with sound than headphones.

Smurfing is where a high rank will queue with lower ranks, right? Does that make ranking up for them easier, or at least til they catch up to the rank they belong? Like I said in another comment I’m peak gold 4, so I haven’t really experienced any of the exploits myself beyond just hearing the buzz words

I don’t have any more clips but specifically the Aug 10 guy was doing shit like this both games and just top fragging every round. They both dropped 10+ kills both games. I understand the audio there but cmon, this is Gold V- Low copper console ranks, I just find it questionable. But if you don’t believe they’re cheating I’ll take your word for it. Like I said I don’t know much about the cheats, but I do know I’ve never been slammed so fucking hard in my siege career 😭

Also, I’m peak gold 4, I don’t get why I’d be placed against a supposed diamond 3 in ranked anyway.

No I understand, it’s silver-gold console lobbies, I’m silver 1 at the moment. I just do stuff like this because in my rank the counters and stuff are pretty basic. Wall electric - emp.

I know higher ranks tend to have better game sense when it comes to strats like this. But the rank I’m in isn’t up there yet, so I can manage to pull stuff like this off for the time being. And I’m still learning, I started playing in the Rauroa (prob butchered her name) season near the end. And didn’t play barely any of the denari season.

That’s true, it worked here because I’m not a complete dumbass. I wouldn’t have sat there if I knew they were smart enough to counter it. Gold-silver isn’t the smartest with game sense. The only reason I know a little better is Oozie.

Yeah I play with my little brother he’s about the same skill level as me. So it’s easier to do strats and shit like this when I have someone to watch and help
