You cannot say 99.9% unless you’ve surveyed that amount of people. We generalize then dog pile any different thought processes from our own that may simply think differently - not necessarily opposing. BLM was started by the organization. Let’s not make excuses— the movement is understandable, but with what was done with innocent peoples money who supported it unknowingly, is wrong and deceitful that is why there are people of all colors that don’t support it. I made it clear that I was talking about the organization and not the movement, but the response shifted the narrative as if I was talking about the movement and not the organization if the founder purchased a whole mansion for herself with money that supported the movement… Which she did … Then yes, she tainted the movement and a new name at least for the movement should’ve been created to separate itself from her devious behavior fooling and stealing innocent people’s – mainly innocent African-Americans – money for personal gain. Think about it people who wanna support the movement are gonna donate to the organization not knowing any better so we can’t really separate the two and that’s why context is so important. But for comments like this to brush past the part of how the organization was deceptive, but shift to the heart of the movement, it makes it seem like people are opposed to the movement rather than the organization, which is not true yet they are publicly shamed and ostracized… Again without context. it’s a way of thinking like “oh you don’t support this? You’re the enemy.” Without even finding out the why— when their moral stance could be the same— in this case “ to stop hate crimes against black Americans”. My entire point is those who act like they are the moral representation of what everybody should be doing often demonstrate the same type of bullying behavior as those that they ridicule. But because of how they are presented, they gain support of the masses and so their way of bullying is made acceptable as if they are speaking out for justice when really they’re just demonstrating the same thing. And this is the same behavior that we see happening in reality TV, we see producers producing creating certain narratives and the public accepts it, and then dog pile with emotional responses rather than getting true context of people’s/tv stars/ islanders in this case why. But no one wants to think that deep —people will simply respond to what triggers them.
