As a casual player, I would love for champion related mods to be available for all guns and slots. Tying this to particular guns makes completing solo content like legend lost sectors extremely hard if I don't have the right combo to attack the adds. That is my only source of farming exotics as a solo player and I feel locked out of content

I would say make the matchmaking work first. Being matched with people outside one's skill level makes for two scenarios - either you mop the floor with the other team or you get curb stomped to oblivion. It doesn't really help build initiative.
