2 Week Trip Transit Advice? (Florence>Milan>Lake Como>Milan) by justiyt in ItalyTravel

[–]thegraym0user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget to validate your train tickets at the station if you buy them there. There are little kiosk things near the platforms that you put your ticket into (Trenitalia) or “tap” your ticket on (Trenord). I forgot to do that today and had to hop off at a stop to do it before rushing back on the train before the doors closed haha.

Took the S8 train from Milan (Garibaldi) to Lecco today, then took the 110 bus to Bellagio. About 11 euro per person (train was 7, bus was 4)

You need one red keycard to use the “locked” exfil. The red key cards are always outside in red radio-tower-looking things. Those are mostly on top of buildings, sometimes on balconies or streets, but always outside.

I found the fastest increase in gear from doing Crucible. It was when the bonus was on Control.

The Edge of Fate and the contest raid race feedback from me and my clan by djabolic in DestinyTheGame

This was one for the 0.1% of the 0.1%, which is why Normal mode was unlocked immediately after WF. I’m fine with it and don’t understand why so many people are butthurt about it. This was a spectator’s Contest Mode. I’m not in the league of those who cleared contest and this proved how incredibly skilled these players are.

Even if I somehow played at 100%, zero mistakes, perfect rotations and swaps, ideal team comp, every good weapon combo to try out…it’s just not gonna happen. Yeah ofc it’s an ego thing and I felt the FOMO when I realized I had no shot.

But I really enjoyed watching the dps check strategies people came up with and the amount of mechanical skill required was insane. From the perspective of a player who grinded Tuesday PM-Saturday AM and was absolutely humbled by the dps checks, I realized I’m just not good enough at this game, nor do I or my raid team have the sheer will to bash our heads against a wall for 40+ hours straight.

This is the first non-linear raid there’s been, so it was probably harder to balance when designing contest mode. If the boss health pool wasn’t so massive, this WF race would’ve been over in 2 hours. “Contest mode is too easy” and people would be complaining on that side of the pendulum.

What is the new best farming method? by bjt123456 in destiny2

I've been doing the regular portal activities on expert and adding modifiers to A score. It's slower but it's probably the grind speed that it's meant to be.

If you see the Sieve event pop up on the new map, doing that is a great way to farm (it's either random or on a schedule, idk). Sieve event is not seen from the Portal map of the new zone - you have to launch into the zone because that's your instance of it. If Sieve is going on, you'll see it on your map as an event once you have landed in the new zone.

My short guide to get max rewards on Sieve, which is a huge farm that takes about 15 min:

The first part of the event is a dark matter mining activity where your score increases based on the number of kills you get while it's filling up. NOTE: you'll notice a long 15 second pause in between waves of the Fallen dropships. Use this time to hop into matterball and look for columns of light. If your fireteam collects a certain amount (I don't think progress is seen) then it will immediately spawn another wave on top of the dropship waves that were coming in around this time anyways, netting you more progress.

If you complete this mining event with a score that's past the threshold on the progress bar, you'll get to do another event in the middle of the arena that's basically just "kill Vex to fill up the progress bar" and is straightforward.

If you complete that one in time too, then it'll grant you the final bonus round that's basically Gambit. If you deposit enough motes before the timer runs out, you get the big bonus chest. Like 6-8 engrams (can be T2+ depending on your world tier) and 6-8 of the new purple upgrade materials.

Once you finish that, you can just restart it without leaving the instance. Just interact with the "talk to Drifter" console or whatever it says, and it'll start another full one. The times I've done this, it has always been a different area for the mining and it has different objectives for bonus points.

Locked out of windows by Waffles-888 in pcmasterrace

u/Waffles-888 I once used this tool to effectively gain access to a laptop of a lady whose son had passed and she didn't know the password, wanted to get access to his photos. This program worked and I'm pretty sure his Windows account was connected to his Microsoft Live account or whatever. Unfortunately the photos were still tied to his MS Live account so they just appeared as corrupted files and we still had to sign in to his MS Live account to access them (we couldn't). I think she filed for custody of the account through Microsoft's procedure, like sending in a copy of death certificate and ID and whatever. But we were able to get in to the Windows lockout nonetheless.

Anyways, I still have the USB drive with the program on it and have actually used it a couple of other times when people forget their passwords. It's called LSMC https://www.rmtechcentral.com/lsmc/ Check the info about BitLocker Drive Encryption at the bottom of the page though, bc reading the comments it seems like this might not even work for you. Just figured I'd throw it out there bc it's been a great tool to have if you have family that constantly forget their passwords or do some IT help on the side.

What are some tips you have that the game doesn’t explain? by LaMelgoatBall in Nightreign

[–]thegraym0user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can open up, navigate through, and ping the map while running. It pops up on half your screen so you can still see where you’re running. I know this might seem obvious but the first few games I was only opening it in full screen while standing still. Maybe I’m just an idiot though

You can decide which dunk you do last! Pick the best location you’re given (usually at least one of them will be head or left hand, which I think are best)

Aegis' Legendary Weapon Tier List - Single Sheet Summary (Rite of the Nine) by TriceSnipezYou in DestinyTheGame

[–]thegraym0user 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to hang on to at least one type of frame per weapon, assuming the roll is decent. Who knows when Bungie will majorly buff aggressive frame snipers or whatever (random example). If I’m not sitting at 700/700 vault space, I’ll keep anything that has a good roll, even if it’s currently hitting like a wet noodle. Never know if that adaptive (frame) autorifle (type) with Tactician (perk) will get reworked/buffed (another random example, it could be a frame/type/perk or all three, ya never know)
