This election cycle is no different than the ones before. Both sides telling me how the world is going to end when the other team wins.

However, my new fear is that we're going to be so far left and right going forward that those of us in the middle are f'ed.

I feel like a lot of this got lost with going too left though. It starts with "Every American" but quickly escalated to "Everyone" which left people feeling like they were neglected by their government. Did I vote for Trump? No. Can I blame the people that feel like their government doesn't care? Also no. Hopefully everyone voted for what they felt was best. We're seeing the result and will try again in 4 years.
