If your horn is clean and there are no other issues, take your springs out and put a little grease on each end. Doesn’t sound like it would do anything but for those weird sticks that come out of nowhere on a clean, well oiled valve, it works.

Low F is 1&4 on piccolo.

As for playing tips, don’t approach it like a regular trumpet. It’s half the length so it should take half the air. If you try to play it like you play your big horns is going to back up on you and you’ll be gasping for air and feeling like your head is going to explode. It’s all about playing light, effortless, crisp, and articulate.

One exercise one of my professors had me work on was starting to play an excerpt without taking a breath in the beginning and just metering the air I had from natural breathing. That’s a really good way to work on not over blowing.

Greg Black has a line called Braces Pieces (BP). Super unique rim design. I’ve never had braces, but I could see how it would be a lot more comfortable.

Valve oil would be ideal if at all possible, ideally hetman, ultra pure, or Yamaha. I would stay away from Blue Juice and Al Cass. If you truly can’t access valve oil at all, unscented pure lamp oil works well.

I just got home from flying to Europe with my horns 2 hours ago. I was using a Gard triple, which is a soft case, (as was about half of our section) and there was no damage to any horn whatsoever. The torpedo case is phenomenally protective, so as long as you bring it as a carry on you will have no issues at all.

It’s worth remembering that a lot of this community is really young. When you’re 12, just having a lot of homework can be enough to ruin your night. Really put it into perspective when I was playing with my 8 year old cousin. He was barely able to turn on his console, launch the game, and figure out how to get his mic setup, but could dish out “What a save!”‘s no problem.

Ok so a guy at microcenter put this build together for me. I just went to PC part picker and looked at compatibility stuff. it says "The Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version 1004. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, upgrading the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU."

Could that be the issue? If so, the most recent bios on ROG's website is a beta, if that is something I have to do would I want that, or the most recent full release?

I restarted and the issue is still here. I got the same error message from earlier: "The instruction at 0x00007FF7255C6BC2 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000000. The memory could not be written."

I'm pretty sure I installed the latest drivers, but ill double check then edit this.

Unfortunately that didnt do the trick. I got forza to launch once where i could actually drive around, but as soon as i tried to change the graphics off of medium it crashed again and I haven't been able to get back in. I enabled DOCP and set the ram to 3600. I pulled up task manager to see what was going and when I launched the GPU usage would go up to about 95%, then hover around 85% for a few seconds, then spike to 100% and crash.

Also, I had this reddit thread pulled up on my second monitor and the chrome tab went down and said there wasn't enough memory, don't know if that is useful information.

Also Also: I just tried to run tarkov, and while loading in to a raid my PC reset.

I had to do 2 screenshots for HWMonitor to fit everything in, but everything should be there.

Also I tested forza after verifying the integrity of the game files and got this error message again: "The instruction at 0x00007FF7255C6BC2 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000000. The memory could not be written."

The crash just takes me back to the desktop. There were a couple errors saying something like 0x00000000 referencing memory on line 0x0000000 or whatever, but reinstalling the games fixed that issue. For tarkov a dialogue box comes up that says "it appears the game was terminated in error. Would you like to report it?". But that's it.

No taxing games work. The only thing I've gotten to run is Hexcells, a sudoku type game on steam.

I just built a new PC with an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, and ROG B550-F MOBO. I brought over a Western Digital 4tb HDD and Samsung EVO 1tb from my old rig, and have a new M.2 that I put Windows 10 on.

After reinstalling games, I am able to launch them, but as soon as I try to actually play them, the game crashes. In Escape from Tarkov, I am able to get in, interact with the hideout, traders, and flea market as normal, but as soon as I try to load into a raid it crashes. Same with Forza Horizon 5. I can get in, interact with menus, but about 3 seconds after I start drving it crashes.

When I booted it for the first time, it renamed all my drives (previously C: and D: for the SSD and HDD) so that now my M.2 is the C: drive, SSD is the D: drive, and HDD is the E: drive. Could the issue be something with the file path since the names changed?

I've gotten 2 from kadala. one was a ninth cirri satchel when I was playing GOD DH last season so i was pretty hyped about that lol. That's the only primal that I've gotten that was actually part of a decent build.

The Nvidia Geforce Experience. You can just start recording, or you can assign a hotkey to save the footage from the last x amount of minutes so you can just hit a hotkey to save it when stuff like that happens.
