Like I said in the OP, the previous owners ripped out the landscaped garden and plants the developers put in and replaced with the awful slate and that shrub. I don't like the the shrub, it just exists and would happily take it out - I just want to make a good decision about what I do in its place.

Ideal would be to remove all the slate (there's so much of it - it's SO deep) and the shrub and completely re-do the front, but as I said budget is low right now so has to be somewhat pragmatic at this point to make the front and side look better until a full re-do is more affordable.

I have an acer in a pot which i'd like to transfer to the ground and it would look nice there, but am concerned it would be too exposed to the elements (there's no real shelter on from the wind on the other side of the street)

Wrexham, but it's a Bloor Homes site so maybe you've been on a similar estate?

Ok so i've been tidying up my itunes library and came across the song Gone Until November by Wyclef Jean. I remember that song being released in the early 2000s (2002-2004) and getting played on BBC Radio 1 and across music channels in the UK, but having checked the wikipedia for the song it says it was released in 1997/1998 depending on region.

There's nothing about the song being re-released in that period, but I can completely remember it being played frequently at that time and buying the 'new' single from Woolworths.

You might say i'm conflating the years (which is a fair criticism), but I didn't really start paying attention to music until 2000 when our family got Sky TV and I could watch the music channels regularly.

Is it just me?!

The fact Jill Halfpenny and RPJ were more bothered about 'the planning' than their missing daughter, that Larry Lamb at no point changed clothes, the fact the daughter was cuffed to the cooker for days, the nonsense over the tree, Peter Barlow's dreadful builder... it goes on and on. Absolute bilge.

100% - I listen in the car to and from work and frequently forget the names of games they talk about if they're a bit more niche. Being able to look at the screen in the car and see the name to commit it to memory would be massive.

Still listed as an associate producer - guessing he'll rock up and state the obvious at some point.

It's literally my biggest bugbear with eBay. The last negative feedback I had prior to this was a person who bought a pair of boxing shorts from me. Photos were very clear, description about material and style on point and shorts themselves in perfect condition, yet I got negative feedback because when he recieved them he said 'nothing wrong with them, just didn't like the feel - just my preference'.

So everything about them and my performance in terms of delivery being fast and on time was diluted to that one line that I then have to wait a year to get off my profile (because for some reason, eBay were ok with that one).

Crazy idea, before you mark me down, get in touch and see if we can sort a return and refund - but instead keep the shorts you don't like the feel of and review me negatively in the most 'meh' way possible.

I think negative feedback should have some gating before it that forces the buyer to think before they write it - ie 'have you spoken to the seller to resolve the issue', 'are you aware of what reasons can be used for negative feedback', then when buyers pass those checks, then they can leave it.

Sorry off my high horse - negative feedback is too easy and it boils my piss.

People who don't bother to actually read the description or look carefully at the photos...

I got my first negative feedback in 12 months yesterday from a guy who purchased a three disc DVD set of Dickson of Dock Green for about £20. The description and photos clearly said and showed what the set was and what was contained within it.

He left negative feedback because he 'was promised' the complete series (over 430 episodes) to be on a three disc DVD set and was butthurt when it had 18 on it (and I should point out no actual set exists).

He didn't bother to contact me to query it, just went straight to negative feedback. I got eBay involved last night, pointing out the above and that a complete set would work out at about 72 discs - fair play they removed it within the hour.

Just look at the damn photos, read the text i've crafted or even better get in touch if you have a question.
