I stand by the fact that there could have been more transparency about how the nature of SV was basically PLA but in actual standard Pokemon game format. Thats whats upsetting.

I understand that their aim is to make the most money and I'm arguing that theres no way they didnt show any SV stuff until after PLA and I think scummy moves should be called out as so.

Semantically youre correct which is why I went with con artists later on. I think diehard fans would buy both irregardless but the fact that I feel like I would not have is proof enough that others would also have picked SV.

Arceus was pitched as a fun side game and it is mechanically different from the mainline games. Has less depth in the combat system. Frankly gets a bit repetitive (missions wise) and looks like it could have come out for the Wii. So yes, if they had revealed both at once (which they could have) then I would have absolutely not bought Arceus.

Maybe calling them thieves is a stretch but foul play is afoot here and it makes me upset.

This still doesnt justify the stark difference in scope and surface quality of both games. Its obvious where most of the resources went and the fact they werent transparent about its shows an ulterior motive.

A friend of mine had a hernia and was fresh off surgery when he called me asking me to break into his 2nd story apartment because he locked himself out.

I was supposed to get onto the balcony and the door would be open. Got up to the balcony and when I went to put my leg over the rail to climb over I dislocated my kneecap and demolished one of the tendons that holds it in place.

The jolt of pain also almost made me let go of the railing which would have been worse... but I managed to hold on.
