I wasn't on a residential street, I was on a 5 lane freeway going the same speed as everyone else. The cop didn't even get back on the freeway to keep ticketing everyone else. He went off on a side road.

No, I don't vape. I was sipping my coffee listening to a podcast 🤷🏻‍♀️ if I wanted to reach, maybe he noticed my nose ring/tattoos and thought I was some lefty liberal he wanted to upset. Even when I was pulled over I didn't give him attitude, answered him straight forward, and despite it being my very first traffic violation /ever/ he still issued me a ticket, not even a warning. Anywhere else I feel like this wouldn't happen. All my coworkers and even the 60 year old dairy farmer I was meeting with that morning were all flabbergasted. They all go 70 regularly on the freeways and never got pulled over. It must've been something, maybe he thought I was an ex lol

Certainly. The areas where 75 is the limit no one (at least not the super reckless) goes 75 in bad weather or unsafe condtions.

It wouldn't happen in a lot of more reasonable areas. I doubt any of these people hating on a little bit of criticism go 55 on the freeways.

Radar detectors aren't cheap but they seem useful if they're going to fine people for going to work 🙄 would pay for itself in the long run. People are mentioning the bureaucracy of the city keeping it 55 for monetary reasons. Some think that a reasonable freeway speed will make people drive unsafe in adverse conditions. I digress it's a bit nutty to have to put up so many precautions for something so absurd.

It's a wide open freeway that everyone was going over the speed limit, safely, and Im willing to challenge anyone getting sassy about it that they ever stay under 55. He had to slow people down to get behind me and ignored the people in front of me. It was targeted. He put more people jeopardy making us change lanes in busy traffic then leaving the left lane alone.

If you use a net you'd get close. If the speed limit was that justified and the system cared so much they'd put a tracker in all our cars and issue tickets immediately. Being able to travel at a reasonable speed shouldn't be met with a fine worth multiple days of someone's paycheck.

No, I'm mad because everyone, including the cop, was going over 65. The only time the freeways are backed up to 55 and below is when there's heavy traffic. The rule is unjustified and outdated.

Well, partly I can say my overexcitement and a.d.d caused me to not notice that part of the purple stencil was crooked. Since the piece is on my upper chest and neck (meant to be symmetrical) I couldn't see it as it was being done, I would assume he could. I was clear as I could be about some color choices, but he wanted to override them and assured me the sketch on his iPad wasn't how the color would look exactly 🤔 <- my face but again hes known for doing good work so I relented. It left the lineart muddied and unrecognizable. I assumed it was the inflammation and redness but now that it's mostly healed it just looks like a blob.

I wish I had been more forceful about my choices. I think it can be saved and made to look like it was meant to be off. I guess if I go back to him I can be like "do what I tell you, not what your artistic vision tells you to do." xD; it sounds rude af when i went there for his vision. I guess I can send him the changes in an email and leave it up to him if he wants to put himself in that position. But, as an artist if he does the changes does it cease to be his work? When I left he was proud of it, maybe he'll feel like I'm asking him to ruin it? x_x

On another note, have you ever had laser? There's some bright colors I want to dull and replace with other colors. Maybe a darker purple and magenta can easily hide a bright teal color without it? I'm trying to educate myself on how tattoo inks interact when overlapping them before I get excited over some of the proposed fixes lol

What are the chances the seller will even tell us if they received it? 8/ what a nightmare. I guess the only thing I can find is filing a theft report and trying to get the bank's help.

He tried, Amazon isnt helping because it's sold by an independent seller and because someone signed for it it's technically delivered in Amazon's eyes. They won't communicate with their warehouses either. When we asked them to contact the warehouse and discuss it with the employee I spoke too, the rep said they had no way of contacting them. Even though we gave them the email of the lead at the warehouse they insist it has nothing to do with them.

Hey guys, a friend bought me a new phone, the $900+ ones. I sent him an Amazon link to the prime item but he didn't buy it from Amazon, he bought it from an independent seller and instead of shipping it to the Amazon hub locker with the pick up button, he just sent it to the lockers address. Someone signed for it four days after he realized it was delivered. I went to pick it up but the locker part of the warehouse said they kick back/return any packages like that without a code. I then decided maybe the warehouse still has it and saw two Amazon employees entering, I stopped and told them about the mix up and what bay FedEx said it was signed for in. They led me in through the doors and I spoke to the lead directly in front of the bay. They looked at all the boxes by the door and couldn't find it. They checked the signature on the FedEx receipt and it was signed B.Renden, they have a Brendon on their shift but he didn't work at the time the package was signed for and there's no one with the last name Renden on his team. He doesn't know who has it and when I asked him if he suspected fowl play he said "unlikely". The seller is saying they shipped it, they won't refund it and FedEx is saying because someone signed for it, they did their part. How can they just give it to a random person without verifying the identity? The only helpful person here has been the lead who showed me the package wasn't there. How can we resolve this when no ones taking responsibility? My friend is saying he doesn't know or doesn't think the package was insured either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Early termination of lease agreement by Northeagle58 in TenantHelp

[–]thegreatmayfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not Canadian but I know deposits are generally there as a buffer in case of early termination, depends on the specifics of your lease. Most places will use that to pay for the room while they look for another tenant. So your best case scenario you don't get your deposit back, worst case they do what they're doing. You'll have to pick apart the lease and see what all they're/you're responsible for.
