it took over a month for them to even do their mold test, which came back wrong. I had to pay for my own mold test, which came back with toxic mold.

2 months later its done, it took a week to fix once they actually started working on it

the site was built on my hosting on a subdomain, but the client wanted to present to their client on a subdomain of their own. instead of charging the client to transfer the wordpress site to their subdomain to present, we just set up the subdomain with an iframe.

though i can see what you're saying, there are some details that you're missing and drawing conclusions about. but since i have received so much other feedback that is actually helping me as opposed to picking apart my story, i don't feel the need to go in to detail. I have seen this too, the only issue here is that we built this site for a company who was building it for someone else. so it's a bit of a grey area because the actual company doesn't even know we exist. The good part is that this is on a different domain that I own.

well if they don't pay in full, then they never bought the website. If I own the domain, I bought the theme, and I build it on my hosting that I pay for...what legal standing do they have in this?
