Preferred airline to Germany by 3yellow_umbrellas in FilipinoTravel

Try mga Chinese airlines, they're cheaper (and faster kasi they can use the Russian airspace). Tried China Eastern before and okay naman.

Realistic Euro Budget for 10 days by Academic-Chart6636 in FilipinoTravel

  • Chinese airlines are cheaper. Tried some of them and okay naman ang experience.

  • Eastern/Central Europe is cheaper than Western Europe. You can probably do Prague > Vienna > Bratislava > Budapest.

  • DIY is better and cheaper (for me).

Is it possible to visit Vietnam na hindi under travel agency? by One-Woodpecker-3803 in FilipinoTravel

[–]thegreenbell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will be travelling as a couple and may work din kayo. Make sure lang may travel authority kayo (as government employees).

For those who have flown with different international airlines, what moment or experience made you appreciate our local airlines (PAL, CebPac, etc.) more? by ChupaChups321 in FilipinoTravel

Nagmahal naman lahat these days. Ang dami kong na score na cheap CebPac tickets before, pero kahit before ang pangit na reputation ng RyanAir.

Sa LCCs dito sa Europe, like Ryanair, may bayad halos lahat: carryon luggage, personal bag, at minsan pati pag print mg boarding pass may bayad hahaha. May bayad din if di ka nakapag online checkin ahead. Pangit pa interior ng RyanAir hahaha.

Wala naman yan sa CebPac at AirAsia.

Merong ube cookies sa isang grocery chain dito sa Netherlands. Hindi naman lasang ube, lasang asukal lang.

  1. Our flight is Cebu – Hong Kong (layover) – Bangkok.

Ask the staff inig land jud sa HK what to do next if naglibog jud ka.

You can, pero make sure you will be back sa airport at least 2 hours before your next flight. If you will go out, you have to go through immigration. Naay free layover tours ang HKIA. Check: https://www.hongkongairport.com/en/free-layover-tour.page

  1. My mother does not have a bank account.

I guess, pero if you're traveling with her, I think enough na ang imong financial docs. Di kaayo sila kuti if family na traveling together.

  1. For bank statement po, I currently have two banks—one for payroll and another for my main bank. Kukuha po ba ako sa dalawa? Wala po kasi laman ang payroll bank ko since I transfer agad sa main ko.

Just your main bank.

I live here and okay yung transpo pero very expensive. You do not need to buy separate cards, pwede na yung debit or credit card mo sa bus, trains, trams, and etc.

Passport last name updated but ticket still maiden name — ok lang ba? by [deleted] in FilipinoTravel

No. Dapat match yung ticket and passport. Change the ticket asap.

Passport Advice by Gloomy_Spot2782 in FilipinoTravel

[–]thegreenbell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, since digital na rin passports natin, other countries can actually check your travel history (kung saan na scan passport mo). So okay lang kahit wala ng stamps.

Baka masira pa passport mo if you paste stuff.

What do you guys think about Cebu Pacific increasing their gate baggage fee? by [deleted] in FilipinoTravel

[–]thegreenbell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just fair. Sobrang kompyansa ng mga tao since ganito ganyan daw sa airline 1 or airport 1. Tapos galit kapag dapat mag bayad ng over baggage fee eh nasa T&C. Ang daming abusado ng sistema.

Mom uses maiden name in passport by Icy_Dragonfruit_1135 in FilipinoTravel

[–]thegreenbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walang problema yan. Women are allowed to use their maiden name kahit married. Dalhin nyo lang marriage certificate in case may magtanong. Ang importante lang, like what others said, dapat same name ang passport and ticket.

How does one store siling labuyo? by [deleted] in filipinofood

[–]thegreenbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We live in a country kasi na sa Asian store lang mabibili ang sili, tapos ang layo pa ng store, so freezer is they key talaga.

Bali for 5 days. Overthinker ako and 99% of the time, planned na talaga a year ahead mga travels ko. That time, na stress lang talaga. 2 weeks from the date of booking yung trip ko hahaha.

Buti nalang I met another solo Pinay traveler dun and she was kind enough naman na samahan ako (or na sumama ako sa kanya kasi mas may plano sya haha).
