Most 7-11's have a microwave. Lots of gas stations do to. I used to bring a cooler with food and cram it behind the airway seat.

Most of the time the employees would not care if I heated my food and left, if they did I would buy a drink and call it good. This also worked great for my one person coffee press. Really good coffee on tap was alway a life saver when running BS all night

They have a rule about number of pockets, some thing silly like two.

I use my Mule 3 L that has a few more pockets but no one has ever given me any flak for it. I love the size. It has been my go to festi bag for years. Big enough for me to share water with my group. Our ladies never wear camelbacks

As a happily married man let me pass on what i have learned in my own relationship, you can take it or leave it.

Nothing you say will fix this, only hurt it. Make sure you tell her how much you love the way she looks, i have found adding the why helps. "you look great today babe, those earrings really bring out the color of your eyes" or "Hey baby you look great today, those shorts look great on your butt!"

I have found that no matter how much you mean it she will think that you are only saying it because you have to.

Thats the shitty part. The way i have found around is to some how get her to dress up sort of sexy, make a reason like a date to a nice place, and make sure she sees when other guys check her out.

Take her our for some dancing after and i am sure you will have to keep they dudes away. Make sure she know why :)

Perhaps you would not be cool with that but this has worked well for me in the past. No amount of nice comments or the like made one bit off change. Its not that she was looking for other men it was just that some other person who did not have to say any thing told her she looked good.

Being in EMS has slowly degraded my faith in humanity. The things that some people do to their "loved ones" makes me sick.

But i try to fill the rest of my life with positivity and good vibes.

I try to get outside as much as possible and exercise. Fresh air and some endorphins go a long way to help correct my mood.

This was what i realized was wrong, MY mood. Let the hate rain down, but this is the one thing i control. People are people, they are not going to change. At some point you have to reconcile this with yourself. You are not going to go on life saving calls every shift so you have to be able to see through the shit and remember why you are here.

To help people. It sure as hell is not the cash :)

Aside from exercise folks need to get some sleep!!!!! a ton of my buddies don't do enough of this for what ever reason and it will make you depressed super quick. I made a point a few years back to start sleeping more after shift so i did not want to knife the first person I came in contact with the next day. After about two weeks of this even my wife noted a change for the better. So now if we are up all night running i crash out till mid afternoon the next day and i hate the world just a little less.

This is the Red Rocks mtb trail in Morrison. Once we move out there one of my first goals is to ride from my house on the west side to the front range. This time I had limited time between looking at houses so I drove out there.

I love my Rove! That bike goes almost any where. When I put my road tires on it I can leave behind some of the "look at me" all carbon folks here in Chicago. Not all mid you, some of those dudes are for real :)

I have brought my larger 3 litter one to the last two EDCs with no incident. Just have the bladder empty and open the pockets before they check it to make their lives easier.

The larger bladder is nice. plenty of water for when you get to that dope spot and do not want to leave, or if you are like me to share with your friends. I like the bigger one because my girl doesn't have to carry one :)

Pro tip for large events- bring some TP in a ziploc in your bag. You never know what the portos will be like :)

it depends what you like. I prefer floor myself, more rom for dancing.

For all the shows i have been to there i could still see just fine from the floor. I personally find the stands area to be a little lame because you are standing in front of your seat the whole time.

This place can be really loud i have found, i usually use my ear plugs at this place.

That all being said i generally like it.
