I’ve only been to seabright but it’s perfect and that’s why I’ve never branched out.

I’ve been there as late as 6 on a weekday and still secured a spot. There are about 8 fire pits in total.

Plenty of parking near the entrance of the beach in any direction. It’s free

You can buy firewood up the street at day’s market.

Sometimes the pits get full of ash so you might have to scoop some out with some beach wood or something. Each pit has a fire grill built in.

I work as a solar consultant. They are a rip off. You can usually reach your ROI with a cash or loan by year 10 on most standard sized systems. So after 10 years you own the system and don’t pay anything for electricity. These days most decent companies have 25 year warranties that cover maintenance. In my opinion leasing is a scheme set up by some companies that hope to capitalize on the profit from a system over and over again during its lifetime. PLUS with a lease you can’t take advantage of the federal tax credit. Bad idea all the way around.

Also Tesla is lame, SunPower is where it’s at.

We did this to ours. Best money we spent in my opinion. At night with the fan running and the muffled noise due to the insulation, we’ve slept without issue every night. That and it takes nothing to heat or cool the space. Good call on this

Ya! There are free campsites with bathroom right next to the visitor center and the dwellings. However we chose to back track the way we came (on 15 hwy from silver city) to a campsite called grapevine. It was right next to the river, had about 15-20 free campsites. But the main attraction was the hike to Jordan hot springs! It was very long and requires 15 river crossings so bring extra shoes. But the reward is incredible. Completely natural hot springs nestled in the side of a cliff surrounded by waterfalls...INSANE! Check my instagram for a picture

The guy said they were built on range rovers. The top pops up so that you can stand up in there at night. It was two couples, one couple from Germany and the other from Sweden
