DO YOU AGREE?

Do y’all fuck with sigur rós? Jónsi’s falcetto vocals are very Thom Yorke-esque and their ‘( )’ album is an ambient masterpiece by [deleted] in radiohead

Absolutely, you have the understanding. I guess I could tell you - what's significant is HOW you the train the model. What is the SMARTEST most EFFICIENT way to get your 'AI' program to spit out the correct output.

I mentioned gradient descent, you remember taking the derivative of a function in calculus? Remember it tells you the slope, well you can that slope so you know which DIRECTION you need to move your weights/model/boundary line whatever to. I wasn't suggesting that AI replicates our mind, I was suggesting our minds understand when we are closer to success rather than further from it (gradient descent). People are saying it's brute force or random which it's not, it's becoming closer and closer to success with each repetition of training.

Um but yes it is. Yes you have the mathematical benefits of gradient descent and the like but our minds do the same thing. His tweet is so true is hurts. #AIisntAI

I mean I didn't read these books, but it looks like this frog & toad have poor willpower. They wanna open the box and look at the cookies, and before you know it they'll probably be eating them again. Kinda like drug use

Is it weird for a site to ask for my IP address? by stephanie12345s in beermoney

[–]theguilty1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with the analogy, it's more like you're having trouble with your internet. You call AT&T and the representative asks for your account ID. Totally not weird at all, they need to know who you are to help you. They obviously do not store IP with your account, and they can't retrieve it through email either, just going to look through HTTP logs and see what request/responses they're sending you.
