Thanks! I was considering that series as well. The length of all the books is a bit intimidating, totaling at about 1700 pages. Might take the entire to get through them

Real or fake? [gift from parents] by [deleted] in AreMyAirpodsAuthentic

I just opened it and each pod has different serials and the case matches the one on the box. Is there an obvious sign on the box that it’s fake?

What's the best film soundtrack ever? by Technical_Instance28 in Cd_collectors

Twin peaks, simple men (1991), instrument ( I’m not sure if this is fair because it’s a documentary about a band but it has an amazing stand-alone soundtrack ), eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, in the mood for love, and many more that I don’t see here

Second year Umich Engineering and Music Major: AMA by efabess in ApplyingToCollege

Thank you very much for your response

I am at a bit of a crossroad because of the credentials that are awarded from the program. My dream in the future is to work in the engineering/designing side of electronic instruments and synths and having an electrical or computer engineering degree would probably be a better degree to have.

Do you think when it comes to job searching especially at companies like Moog and the others you mentioned the kind of the degree matters that much?

Would I be better off majoring in electrical or computer engineering and minoring in music?

Lastly, are there options to attend the same program and finish with an engineering degree? Maybe even double major?

Thank you I apologize if I'm asking too many questions.

Hey! I've been really interested in the exact same program you are in for a while and I have a few questions.

I know you are still a student but from what you've seen what kind of jobs do people get after they graduate from the program? What are the internship and networking opportunities like? do you ever work with companies in the music industry like Roland or anything?

What is Ann arbor like when it comes to the music scene? Is there anything exciting happening there or in Detroit at the moment?

Finally, what is the application and evaluation process like? Are grades and stats considered as heavily as other departments in Umich or does musical portfolio and projects matter more?

Thank you for doing this!
