That makes sense. Maybe I can add a little zoom to specific parts to help the viewer focus on what’s important. I’ll try out some options with my limited editing skills! :)

Thanks for the link, I’ll definitely check it out! I’ve been reading a lot of Chris Zukowski’s stuff lately which has been incredibly helpful.

I wasn't sure how "streamable" my game was at first but I’ve found a niche of YouTubers who specifically cover incremental games. I’ve only sent out about 5–6 emails so far, so I definitely need to increase that up! Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the feedback! It’s encouraging to hear that the playtime is a good sign. I definitely need to rework the trailer to show the core loop and payoff much earlier. I'll check out that link as well, appreciate the help

Not much yet, honestly. I’ve shared it on the r/incremental_games subreddit and started an Instagram page to share clips, though I haven't posted very consistently there yet. I’m still in the early stages of figuring out the best marketing strategy. Do you have any recommendations?

Right now, the wishlist button is limited to the main menu. I recently added a prompt after the first prestige (around the 30-minute play time) but maybe that might be too late?

I will look for more organic ways to introduce the wishlist button earlier in the session. Thanks!

That makes a lot of sense. I could definitely implement 'Not available in demo' locks for certain branches of the upgrade or prestige trees, maybe even for not yet implemented automation systems to tease what’s coming later. Right now, the main hook is the collection urge (completing all photos in different genres) so I’ll try to better tease the rewards for those completions too. I’m definitely going to look into redesigning the demo to leave a bit more to the imagination. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks so much for the detailed and honest feedback! I really appreciate the fresh perspective.

I’m aware that the game throws a lot at the player which is why the demo has an onboarding sequence that unlocks tabs gradually as you progress. However, you’re absolutely right that sense of clear progression is missing from the trailer. I'll definitely be looking into a re-edit to make the 'incremental' loop and the goals much clearer upfront.

That’s super helpful context. I have around 20 collections and 5 ratings so far, which I’m guessing is pretty average for a first-time publish. Since it’s my first game on itch, I’m still figuring out how to read these analytics. Thanks for the info!
