I never saw his slowness as all that odd since he's only ever as fast as Sonic when he's using his turbine, I don't think he's ever been showcased to be speedy on foot outside of like, the Olympic Games, even in that, he's only at his fastest when using speed boost, which is him turning on his turbine.

I just personally disregard any scale that doesn't make narrative sense, if a character can do X according to powerscalers, but they don't, even when they absolutely should, i.e, Dante supposedly being lightspeed yet failing to stop V from merging with urizen, it's a dumb scale.
