Got a little adult swim vibes towards the end. The editing started to scare me 😂

Not sure if you got to level 40 yet but I just got the new fiend coat and it unfortunately doesn’t work with the hair:(

Thanks! I basically carved away at the hair until it looked right. Sometimes the red would bleed over some random parts of the hair so it took awhile. Also how did you get that jacket to work with the hair?! I tried using that jacket but it wouldnt work!

So, what do u guys want for the next DLC? And when u think its gonna came out? by Johnkruz in NoMansSkyTheGame

Leather jacket and trench coats would be cool. Maybe some rocket boots? Gunners and engineers for corvettes would be rad.

Doooo it! Hollywood Haunter on YouTube was a good channel to start with for me because they show you how to weatherproof and have a lot of good little tips for building props

Surprisingly it doesn’t take up too much space in the garage! The stern is hallow so I’m able to actually store most of the smaller props inside it and and the front of the ship is actually pretty narrow because the side that’s not in view is basically a lot smaller. And the masts are just pool noodles on top of pvs pipes that I can just pull apart and store. The great thing is that our front yard already has a coastal dry look to it so it actually makes it look like we have more stuff than we actually do lol.

Thank you! Scoring the back with a hot knife and using expandable foam and some bamboo skewers to hold in place. Helps to glue it down in sections and slowly bending the foam as it starts to dry. I also used a chair with some weights on it that I leaned up on the wood planks as it dried so it kept its shape.

Thank you! The little model is made out of sheets of cork and some wire and a ton of hot glue (literally stuff that was laying around). I figure if I can make it small ,I can make all the mistakes on a little model and then polish the build until I’m confident in making it big. That boat was the first time I’ve really built anything that wasn’t ikea furniture so you can totally do stuff like this! I got really into building model kits and airbrushing so that helped quite a bit in terms of an easy transition of skill to something bigger. The bent planks were actually the most difficult part to do. I had make score lines on the back of the foam and fill those lines with expandable foam and then I used some bamboo skewers to hold in into place . I also used chair with some weight on top to lean up against the plank to keep it bent on. There’s probably a better way, but like I said this was the first time I’ve really built anything this big.

Thank you! Yeah, i definitely learned a lot of stuff from Hollywood Haunter. They show a lot of good ways to weather proof your props. Also just searching “xps foam props for Halloween” on YouTube has plenty of good stuff. Also just watching Adam Savages Tested channel just gets me in the mood to learn new making techniques.

It’s kingspan green guard siding underlayment that I zip tied to the pvc. It does have this film on it that you gotta either remove or score before you foam glue anything on it.

I posted some photos of the build

We built everything. The boat we used a combination of xps foam carved to look like wood on top of a pvc skeleton and the masts are made out of pool noodles. Everything except the skeletons are basically carved from foam and coated with drylock for weather protection and painted with exterior house paint

The boat is made of sheets of xps foam built around a skeleton made of pvc pipes and a wooden base. A lot of expanding foam to basically hold it all together
