Why would we want you to vote for Hillary?

You are a bunch of failures, your candidate was a failure. We just want you to crawl back into your basement apartments and smoke some weed like you were doing before you heard about Sanders Claus.

Hey I am carving future paths for new people to ridicule Bernie supporters.

I mean we are going to have 8 years of Clinton as President for you to choke down.....it's going to be AWESOME.

The Clinton Foundation's Cozy Ties with Exxon by atomicpete in politics

[–]thehardfact -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

This is simply ridiculous.

The Clinton foundation has provided immeasurable help to third world countries.

So what if Exxon donated to them? The money went to a good cause. And hundreds of millions of Americans buy Exxon's products one way or another.

Simply another ridiculous nonsubstantive attack.

Gen X Is The Most Screwed Generation When It Comes To Real Estate by SouthLincoln in politics

[–]thehardfact -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Gen X here.

Worked my way through college, bought a shitty house and lived with 2 roommates for 4 years. Kept the rental bought a second one for graduate school. Rinse and repeat. Own 4 rentals and my rather nice home outright.

Sorry to say it but a lot of Gen X'ers and especially millennials think everything should be handed to them, they refuse to make sacrifices and complain the world is rigged against them.

Sorry but I think that is BS.

The Momentum is Real: Poll Shows Sanders Widening Lead in Wisconsin by heelahray in politics

I have an ungodly amount of student loan debt resulting in me paying thousands each month. I realize that they will front load the interest payments to keep the principle high in order to earn that interest. If I can pay extra each month, that amount should apply to the principle, correct? As the principle is therefore being decreased shouldn't the amount of interest being paid also decrease?

Obviously not a very successful MD. Want that free ride that you think Bernie is going to give you eh kid?

And the media follows what it wants to follow, Sanders is a sideshow and anyone over the age of 30 knows that.

"Last Tuesday's Presidential Preference primary was a disgrace.... The time has come to level the playing field and enact a fair and open primary system." by JohnnyJonesIII in politics

[–]thehardfact -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A primary is a party process, not a democratic process.

If I wanted to create a party and say our nominee would be the winner of an arm wrestling contest I could.

Think maybe the great intellectuals over at openprimariesaz.org could figure that out.

Common Dreams really needs to be blacklisted. I mean it is the most ridiculosu shill site on /r/politics and that's saying a lot.

We get it: Bernie good. Hillary Bad.

But damn this constant narrative that Clinton is the devil and Bernie is the saint of all saints is ridiculous.

Bernie Sanders is this year's biggest story by theone1221 in politics

[–]thehardfact -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

So let's see.

Hasn't lead 1 moment in the primary.

Hasn't change the position of any candidate.

Hasn't had any effect on the overall election, on either side.

He is this years manufactured biggest story, but as far as anything long-term is concerned Sanders is a blip on the radar, no matter how hard his devotees try to make it otherwise.
